Google’s mid-range Pixel may arrive sooner than you think. The latest details come from noted smartphone source, MysteryLupin. Writing on X, they report on European retail listings that offer pricing, specifications, and colorways for the upcoming Pixel 10a.
Pixel 10a Pricing
The Pixel 10a will be the fifth smartphone in the Pixel 10 family, following the vanilla Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro xL, and Pixel Fold, which were launched at the Made by Google event in Aug. 2025. The Pixel 10a will be the mid-range model, priced to take on the likes of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series and Apple iPhone 17e.
Just as last year’s Pixel 9a came with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, so will the Pixel 10a. According to the retail listing, the smaller model will be priced at €499 and the larger at €599.
Pixel 10a Colours
Curiously, the wider range of colours will be available on the 128 GB model, with obsidian, berry, lavender and fog on offer. The larger model is offered only in obsidian. It’s worth noting that these are coming from retail listings; Google aggressively pushes its own online store, so there may be more colorways on offer there.
The listing also includesthe official cases. These come in the same colors as the phone portfolio and are priced at €20.
Pixel 10a Release Date
Finally, MysteryLupin notes a launch date of Feb 17. 2026. This is over a month earlier than the Pixel 9a, which Google announced on March 18. 2025 for a retail release on March 26, 2025. Due to a “component quality issue”, the retail release was pushed back to April 10, 2025.
Assuming the Pixel 10a is arriving on Feb. 17, it’s going to sit in an interesting place in the smartphone schedule. That’s one week before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event and the launch of the Galaxy S26 family, and two weeks before Mobile World Congress starts in Barcelona.
Google is going to get a small window to talk about the Pixel 10a and the Pixel family of phones, new Gemini AI features, and what it means to be a mid-range smartphone. Given the critical acclaim of the Pixel 9a, that window could prove to be a crucial moment in the story of the smartphone in 2026.
