On Wednesday night, AEW Dynamite emanated from Portland, Maine, showcasing the final build to the highly anticipated Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
Headlined by yet another AEW World Championship match, Darby Allin put the title on the line against Speedball Mike Bailey as challengers continue to line up for him. With his match against MJF already set, would Allin make it to Queens with the gold still in hand?
Additionally, The Young Bucks and Chris Jericho teamed up to face Ricochet, Andrade El Idolo and Mark Davis in a tease of what’s to come in Stadium Stampede on Sunday, while Kyle O’Reilly battled Jon Moxley for a future shot at the AEW Continental Championship.

- A video plays of The Young Bucks and Chris Jericho hyping their Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. They reminisce on the past, and Jericho says he’s honored to team with Matt and Nick Jackson tonight.
- Ricochet, Andrade El Idolo and Mark Davis def. Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks by pinfall. Jack Perry, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin made the save during a post-match brawl with a pack of onions.
- A video package plays to hype Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita at Double or Nothing.
- Backstage, Darby Allin says he’s feeling “everything” from taking all of these world title matches. He says he has no choice but to take these matches every week and says it’s the greatest feeling in the world to be the champion. Allin says once he shaves MJF bald, every interview MJF does while bald will eat him alive. Allin says he’ll do anything it takes to retain his title against Speedball Mike Bailey tonight, and he wants Bailey to do the same.

- Anything Goes Match: Mark Briscoe def. Tommaso Ciampa by pinfall.
- Prince Nana interrupts Tony Schiavone as he talks about the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in the ring. Nana introduces Swerve Strickland, who gets attacked from behind by Bandido. They brawl into the ring, and Bandido chases Strickland out with a chair.
- Backstage, Willow Nightingale says winning the TBS Championship was one of the greatest moments of her career. She says winning it back from Mercedes Mone proved to the world she’s everything she could be, and she would fight any challenger who stepped up. Nightingale announces that she hurt her shoulder against Red Velvet, forcing her to withdraw from the Owen Hart Tournament and relinquish the TBS Championship.
- AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly ends in a time-limit draw. Thus, O’Reilly will receive a title match at Double or Nothing.
- Backstage, Hikaru Shida says she and Kris Statlander have their eyes on the entire division tonight, and Statlander tells her to watch herself.
- RUSH says if Darby Allin survives this week, he wants a shot at the world title next week.
- Athena, Thekla, Skye Blue and Julia Hart def. Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa, Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter by pinfall.
