In a little more than a month, Stray Kids will return with a new EP titled This & That. The short collection is expected to arrive on August 7, and it will almost certainly become another huge win for the South Korean boy band all around the world. This & That may even bring the group back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 – the all-encompassing albums ranking in the United States – which the singers have dominated multiple times in the past.

Ahead of the release of This & That, Stray Kids recently shared a new single titled “Run It.” The song, which arrived in late June, debuts on only one Billboard chart this week, and it gives Stray Kids another top 10 smash in the most competitive music economy in the world.

Stray Kids Debut “Run It” Inside the Top 109

“Run It” becomes a bestseller in America this week. The single opens on the Digital Song Sales chart – Billboard‘s look at the top-selling tunes of any style or any language via platforms like iTunes – at No. 9. The This & That single sold 2,000 copies in its first tracking period, according to data shared by Luminate.

Stray Kids Score Another Top 10 in America

“Run It” earns Stray Kids an eighth career placement on the Digital Song Sales chart, one of Billboard‘s most competitive rankings. All but two of those cuts, now including “Run It,” have broken into the top 10. “Lalalala” and “S-Class” spent one frame at Nos. 20 and 22, respectively. Every other piece of music by Stray Kids that has reached the rundown has become a top 10 success.

Here are all of the top 10 hits by Stray Kids on Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart.

  • “Ceremony”
  • “Chk Chk Boom”
  • “Do It”
  • “Lose My Breath” with Charlie Puth
  • “Run It”
  • “Walkin’ on Water”

“Run It” Becomes the Band’s Fifth-Biggest Sales Hit

As it launches, “Run It” becomes the fifth highest-rising smash by Stray Kids to place on the Digital Song Sales chart. It grabs that honor from the similarly-titled “Do It,” which only managed one frame at No. 10 last December before vanishing.

A pair of singles, “Chk Chk Boom” and “Ceremony,” continue to stand as the top performers when it comes to the Digital Song Sales chart and Stray Kids. Both of those tunes hit No. 3 and turned around.

Here are the top-performing tracks by Stray Kids on Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart.

  • No. 3 – “Ceremony” and “Chk Chk Boom”
  • No. 5 – “Walkin’ on Water”
  • No. 8 – “Lose My Breath” with Charlie Puth
  • No. 9 – “Run It”

Stray Kids Chart the Third-Highest Debut This Week

Five pieces of music debut on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart, and Stray Kids claim the third-highest-ranking entry. “Remember Who You Are” by political musician Tom MacDonald launches at No. 3, and Robyn’s decade-plus-old dance-pop win “Dancing on My Own” finally lands on the sales tally at No. 4.

Stray Kids do manage to beat arrivals from both Jelly Roll and Eddie Rabbitt. The former’s “Hands Up” begins its time on the tally at No. 17, while “Drivin’ My Life Away” by Rabbitt launches at No. 23.

Several cuts that have previously landed on the list, including John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” Yung Miami’s “Spend Dat” and “I Ain’t Worried” by OneRepublic, find their way back to the Digital Song Sales chart – and in some instances hit new highs.

Stray Kids Chart Four Albums in America

While only one song by Stray Kids appears on a Billboard chart, four collections from the K-pop favorites make space on at least a single roster. Do It, Karma, Ate and Rock-Star all appear on the World Albums tally, with the latter returning in last place. Both Do It and Karma also carve out space on the Top Album Sales list, with the former climbing to No. 27 while the other dips just outside the top 40, sliding back to No. 41.
