Amazon has expanded its Echo Show lineup, quite literally, with an upgrade to the Echo Show 15 and the introduction of a brand-new, massive model: the Echo Show 21.
Let’s start with the Echo Show 21, which comes in at a whopping 21 inches with a 1080p Full HD display.
This is by far the largest Echo Show to date, offering almost double the screen space compared to the Echo Show 15.
Priced at $399.99, it’s a bit of an investment, but for that price, you’re getting more than just a big screen. The audio is also a major upgrade, with richer sound, double the bass, and adaptive room technology to improve your listening experience.
The Echo Show 15 also gets a solid refresh, with the same audio and camera improvements. It’s priced at $299 and boasts the same 65% more zoom and wider field of view for video calls, so you won’t be cut off when moving around whatever room you place your new Show in.
For both models, Amazon has added noise reduction to enhance call clarity.
On the smart home front, both the Echo Show 15 and Echo Show 21 can now act as smart home hubs for your Alexa-enabled devices and more.
They support Matter, Thread, and Zigbee, giving them compatibility with a wide range of smart devices, much like the Echo Hub, which was launched late last year.
The new Show duo also boast Wi-Fi 6E – a first for the Show range – which should make streaming from Fire TV smoother and faster compared to the original Echo Show 15.
The two new models come with the Alexa Voice Remote for seamless Fire TV control and allow you to switch between widgets on the home screen for quick access to things like your calendar, shopping list, smart home devices, and more.
There’s also a new audio widget for managing music and podcasts, with the ability to play across multiple speakers at once.
Both devices are available now direct from Amazon.
