As Forbes’ flagship artist, Blacc will serve as a cultural catalyst and curator for Forbes in 2026

Davos, Switzerland – January 21, 2026 – Forbes today announced a groundbreaking Artist in Residence Program at this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with Grammy-nominated musician Aloe Blacc as the inaugural artist.

As Forbes’ first-ever Artist in Residence, Aloe will serve as a curator and cultural catalyst, introducing emerging talent across music, culinary arts, fashion design, visual arts, film, and AI into the Forbes ecosystem. In this role, Aloe will produce creative series—such as original songs, design showcases, culinary collaborations, and AI-driven campaigns—designed to drive meaningful audience engagement, while also delivering performances, showcases, and cultural activations at global Forbes events like the upcoming Under 30 Summit in Phoenix. Additionally, Aloe will serve as an editorial contributor for Forbes, covering topics relevant to creatives.

“At its core, my work has always been about the intersection of storytelling and social impact, executed with the entrepreneurial spirit,” said Aloe Blacc. “Joining Forbes as their first Artist in Residence is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the creative world and the business world. I’m eager to explore how we can use the power of art to inspire the next generation of global leaders across all industries and domains.”

“Aloe is an incredible talent with a deep commitment to using his voice for impact, which aligns perfectly with our journalistic mission,” said Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer, Forbes. “We look forward to the innovative collaborations this partnership will bring.”

Aloe’s career is defined as much by purpose as by artistry. He is also the founder and CEO of Major Inc., a company inspired by his U.S. Marine Corps father and dedicated to developing compounds that could change the approach to viral infections, which he announced with Forbes and discussed at the 2024 Forbes Healthcare Summit.
