Charging and power bank brand Anker Innovations has just announced its Anker Prime lineup for 2024. This is Anker’s premium range of charging devices and includes products designed to cater to almost any charging scenario, whether that is full desktop charging or mobile refueling on the go with portable power stations.
All the products in the Anker Prime range use advanced technology like Gallium Nitride semiconductors as well as Anker’s own technologies like PowerIQ 3.0 and Multiprotect, systems that provide safe and efficient charging.
Anker says its Prime products prioritize smart power controls and designs that furnish peak power to tech devices. The Prime range has been developed for all kinds of end uses and includes high-end docking stations, power banks and wall chargers.
The Anker Prime 250W GaN Prime Charging Station ($169.99 / £169.99) is a six-port charging hub with four USB-C and two USB-A ports. The total output is 250 watts shared across all six ports. The device has an LCD screen as well as a twist control button for accessing charging information and power distribution modes.
The Anker Prime 200W GaN Charging Station ($79.99 / £79.99) is a compact six-port charging hub with four USB-C and two USB-A ports sharing a total output of 200W.
The Anker Prime 160W Charging Docking Station ($249.99 / £199.99) offers an impressive 14 ports with three USB ports for charging, six USB ports for data transfer, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a full-function upstream port, a 3.5mm audio jack, plus a couple of HDMI video outputs with 4K and 60Hz refresh rate. The unit’s combined power output is 160W. This all-in-one workstation has an LCD screen that displays real-time system information.
The Anker Prime 100W GaN Charger ($84.99 / £69.99) is an updated version of Anker’s 100W prime charger. This new version incorporates Anker Activeshield 2.0 and the GaN technologies which Anker claims is one of the smallest 100W chargers on the market. The charger has two USB-C ports and a USB-A port for legacy devices.
Also launching today are Anker Prime USB-C Charging Cables ($29.99 / £19.99 and $34.99 / £22.99). These cables have been designed with durability in mind and are made using upcycled materials and copper wires with a lab-tested lifespan of 300,000 bends. The cables also include e-mark chips and can support up to 240W of power output on supporting devices. The cables will be available in 3-foot and 6-foot variants.
