One of the best shows on Netflix is based off of the video game League Of Legends. Arcane, which returns for its second and final season this weekend, is easily one of my top 5 Netflix shows. It’s animated, but for a decidedly older audience (though it’s not as graphic in terms of nudity as many other adult-oriented animated series out there).

Another League Of Legends spinoff is Riot Games’ first-person shooter Valorant, and the show and the game are crossing over once again starting today. You can earn both free cosmetics and purchase some skins in the game’s shop. The former you’ll do via Twitch Drops and the latter through in-game currency you can buy with real money.

On the left is the Arcane Gauntlets melee weapon. It’s unique because instead of just one melee weapon, you get two! The pair of gauntlets will not make you punch any harder, however, so you won’t get Vi’s special power—just a cool way to smack enemies down.

On the right is the Arcane Vandal, which is really awesome-looking and comes with unique VFX, audio, animations and an “explosive Finisher.”

You can also get the “Arcane Sisters” Player Card, the “Arcane Enforcer” Gun Buddy and the “BLAH” Spray.

If you’re a fan of watching video games stream on Twitch, you can earn bonus items via Twitch Drops either by watching the Riot Games Twitch channel or various co-streamers. Here’s the timeline:

  • 11:00PM PT November 8 — Global Community Premiere Countdown starts on the Riot Games Twitch channel and co-streamers are able to go live.
  • 12:00AM PT November 9 — Arcane Season 2 Episode 1 begins to air on Riot Games Twitch channel and co-streaming channels.
  • Watch for 30 minutes to earn a special Vi player card.
  • Twitch Drops are reenabled on select channels between November 16-23.
  • Watch for 1 hour to earn a special Jinx player card.

The Arcane Bundle lands in the shop at 2pm PT today, November 7th, and Arcane Season 2 drops its first three episodes on Saturday, November 9th with Part 2 landing the 16th and Part 3 coming out on the 23rd.

I admit, I haven’t hopped into Valorant in a hot minute—I’m going to be so rusty when I do—but I kind of need this bundle. I also would love to see an Arcane video game. I realize it’s based on a video game already, but I’m not into League Of Legends and I’d love to see an action-adventure game in this setting, filled with combat and parkour and steampunk magic. Honestly, Dishonored probably feels the closest to Arcane as far as video games go, which kind of makes me want to go play that again also. So much to do, so little time!
