SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio woman was arrested Tuesday on federal criminal charges related to allegedly obstructing an ongoing fraud investigation by producing false documents in response to a grand jury subpoena.
Court filings reveal that Brooklynn Chandler Willy, 45, is under investigation by the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation as part of a probe into an investor fraud scheme spanning San Antonio and Lubbock. Willy, the owner of the San Antonio-based Queen B Advisors LLC, which operated under the name Texas Financial Advisory, is accused of obstructing justice and providing false information to federal authorities.
According to the indictment, Willy recommended that a married couple invest $500,000 in May 2021, directing them to make the payment to Chandler Capital Holdings, another company she owns. However, rather than depositing the funds as intended for the investment, Willy allegedly misappropriated the money, using it for personal expenses, including credit card payments, and to settle debts with other investors.
The indictment further claims that in response to a federal grand jury subpoena, Willy presented a fabricated loan agreement that falsely appeared to be signed by the victims. She reportedly repeated this falsehood during an interview with federal agents on November 19, 2024.
Willy now faces charges including one count of obstruction of justice, one count of making false statements, and one count of aggravated identity theft. A federal judge will determine her sentence, taking into account U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
