UFC 315 is looking good on paper. Dana White and Co. should be pleased.
The Montreal pay-per-view is set for May 10 at Centre Bell Arena. Let’s hope the injury bug doesn’t cause a massive restructuring, as another strong fight was just added to the card.
UFC 315 – New Fight Added Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Jessica Andrade
The latest addition will see former UFC strawweight champion and No. 7 flyweight, Jessica Andrade will step behind enemy lines to challenge the red-hot Jasmine Jasudavicius in a fight seemingly destined for the main card.
Jasudavicius will likely come into the fight ranked No. 9, with an opportunity to continue her climb up the rankings. The Ontario native has been on a tear.
Jasudavicius has won four fights in a row, and she’ll be looking to go 2-0 in 2025 following a unanimous decision win over Mayra Bueno Silva on February 1.
Andrade, 33, is set for her 40th professional MMA fight and her 29th fight in the UFC. The Brazilian veteran is looking to shake off a loss to Natália Silva in September 2024. That bout won Fight of the Night, and it also ended Andrade’s two-fight win streak.
If Andrade hopes to make another serious run at the 125-pound title, she’ll need to turn Jasudavicius away. The next matchups for both women could be on the card, as it’ll be a huge night for the women’s flyweight division.
Champion Valentina Shevchenko will defend her title against Manon Fiorot in the co-main event. Also likely on the main card, former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso faces Silva.
It would make a lot of sense for Jasudavicius and Andrade to fight any of the winners or losers from their division on this card following their fight.
Here is a look at what’s confirmed for the UFC 315 card so far. There are only 10 fights here, so it would seem the UFC will add at least one, and maybe as many as three, more fights to the card.
