President Donald Trump on Tuesday again criticized European allies for their refusal to assist in the Iran war, arguing they should “go get your own oil” from the Strait of Hormuz or buy from the U.S. as global oil and fuel supplies have become strained during the conflict.

Trump, in a pair of Truth Social posts, wrote that countries vying for jet fuel supply that refused to “get involved in the decapitation of Iran,” should buy from the U.S. or “build up some delayed courage, go to the [Strait of Hormuz], and just TAKE IT.”
“You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself,” Trump said, adding, “The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!”
Trump singled out the U.K. and France in his posts, separately claiming France has been “VERY UNHELPFUL” by not allowing U.S. planes with military supplies to fly over French territory.
