President Donald Trump has taken to social media to promote a posthumous book from conservative personality Charlie Kirk that has shot up the Amazon bestseller list since it was released and will line the pockets of the Trump family with its sale.

Key Facts

“Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life” hit No. 1 on Amazon’s frequently-updated list of the top 100 books on Wednesday after steadily rising in the ranking since it was released Tuesday.

The book, which Kirk reportedly finished writing one month before he was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University, was published by Winning Team Publishing, the publishing house founded by Donald Trump Jr. and Sergio Gor, now United States ambassador to India, in 2021.

“Stop, in the Name of God” is available for $30 on Winning Team’s website and while exactly how much the publishing house will pocket per sale is unclear, Winning Team will profit through sales and any licensing and rights deals that stem from the book.

Winning Team has published two other Kirk books—”Right Wing Revolution” and “The College Scam”—and now touts a “Charlie Kirk Collection” at the top of its website, which has the URL 45books.com in reference to Trump as the 45th president of the United States.

The publishing house has also published three Trump books that draw heavily on material not created by the president—including publicly available photos and private correspondence—which sell for between $74.99 and $99 each (signed copies are also for sale at $999 each, 330% more than they were listed for in 2023).

Winning Team has paid Trump more than $9 million in royalties on those books since 2022.
