In an Instagram post, Vonn, who is set to compete in the Winter Olympics starting Feb. 8, said she is “discussing the situation with my doctors and team and will continue to undergo further exams.”

Three of the race’s six participants crashed on Friday, including Nina Ortlieb of Austria and Marte Monsen of Norway, who was taken off the slope in a stretcher after her helmet flew off.

The race was canceled after Vonn’s crash.Friday’s World Cup race was Vonn’s last scheduled downhill event before the Olympics, and she was also planning to race a super-G in Switzerland on Saturday.
