It’s been a huge summer for the WWE, and specifically WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. The new first lady of Judgment Day has secured her spot as the No. 2 woman in the promotion and as one of WWE’s most viral Superstars.

As we head into the fourth quarter of the year, the organization has set attendance records, and at least three legacy premium live events (Crown Jewel, Bad Blood, and Survivor Series) remain on the calendar for 2024.

While the organization has been seeing success, it’s the promotion’s superstars who have taken things to another level. No one has soared like Morgan, whose vastly improved in-ring execution has married with her undeniable arrival as a character and personality.

Simply watching episodes of Raw and PLEs, it’s not hard to tell Morgan has become one of the proverbial straws that stir the WWE drink.

This concept isn’t simply based on my opinion; the social media numbers support it.

According to data measured between April 2024 and mid-August and provided by ListenFirst, a social media analytics firm, Morgan’s social profile and engagement metrics have grown exponentially.

Posts from or featuring Morgan have the third-most engagements (20,346,162) among all active Superstars, trailing only Roman Reigns (27,188,719) and Rhea Ripley (22,767,515).

(Engagements are the number of likes, reactions, comments, and shares a Superstar’s posts received).

To put this concept into perspective, compare Morgan’s numbers to the promotion’s established needle-movers. Morgan-related posts have almost eight million more engagements than WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Morgan ranks No. 2 among active WWE Superstars in Conversation Volume, behind Rhodes.

(Conversation Volume – The count of user-generated posts that match tracked keywords, hashtags, and handles related to the WWE Superstar.)

She is second in Public Impressions on X (160,817,555), trailing Drew McIntyre (173,855,264), and Morgan is more than 51 million impressions ahead of Ripley in this category.

(Public Impressions – How many times a Superstar’s posts were viewed as publicly stated on X.)

Morgan is second in Social Talkability behind Rhodes, and even ahead of Reigns in this category. This metric is a little more nuanced, but important as it measures how many conversations a Superstar successfully sparks across social platforms. The metric considers replies that originate from the Superstar’s social media accounts and engagement from posts that mention the Superstar.

The raw numbers (no pun intended) show Morgan is 17th in total followers across X, IG, and TikTok but third in new followers gained over the time measured.

A few things have to be taken into perspective with these numbers, Reigns took much of the summer off after dropping the title at WrestleMania 40. His absence, while not completely removing him from the consciousness of the WWE Universe, did slow down the conversation around him.

Also, Ripley, the undisputed No. 1 woman in the WWE, was out most of the summer with a shoulder injury suffered in a backstage spot with Morgan.

Ripley has returned, and the plot has thickened between her and Morgan as the latter has made away with the former’s title and her boo in Dominik Mysterio. A few more twists could be on the way with this storyline, further building Morgan’s profile.

The absences of Reigns and Ripley created an opportunity for Morgan, and she has taken full advantage of it by putting on the best performances of her career in the ring and on the mic.

The WWE Universe has taken notice.

Morgan and Mysterio take on Damian Priest and Ripley at Bash in Berlin on Saturday, August 31 in Germany. Here is a look at the complete card:

  • WWE Championship – (c) Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens
  • World Heavyweight Championship – (c) Gunther vs. Randy Orton
  • Mixed Tag-Team Match – Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio vs. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest
  • Strap Match – CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match – (c) The Unholy Union vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill
