Welcome to the 36th edition of Record Roundup, my column tracking record and turntable-related news. This time around, the focus is on Record Store Day 2026 (including a very cool collectible from Crosley), with a few new turntables thrown in the mix.

Record Store Day 2026

Since 2008, Record Store Day has been an important day on the calendar for those who love to listen their music on vinyl. Celebrating the brick-and-mortar record stores that have kept the tradition of flipping through bins in search of vinyl treasure alive and well, Record Store Day includes a collection of limited edition releases. Here’s this year’s list of 300+ unique drops to look forward to.

Crosley has been a long-time partner of Record Store Day, with its Crosley RSD3 mini record player (with full-sized Audio Technica AT3600 cartridge) regularly featured. This year, Crosley has announced it will be offering a Rolling Stones edition for Record Store Day 2026, complete with a themed record crate and six 3-inch Rolling Stones singles. This special edition collection is limited to 2,500 units so if you want to get your hands on one, I wouldn’t sleep on it. If you prefer the all-silver look of the original RSD3 to the red and black ‘Stones version, it’s still available (minus the crate and included records) for under $100.

Circle Saturday, April 18 on your calendar if you plan to visit your local record store and partake in the RSD 2026 festivities.

Teac Limited Edition TN-400BT-X/TB (Turquoise Blue) Turntable

The TN-400BT-X is a nicely rounded, three speed, belt-drive turntable from Teac that combines analog goodness with the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity. The TN-400BT-X/TB (MSRP $629.99) is a limited edition version of this popular turntable featuring a Turquoise Blue lacquered finish on its high density, MDF plinth. Other features include a die-cast aluminum platter, S-shaped aluminum tonearm, machined aluminum knobs and feet, a pre-installed Audio-Technica AT-95E cartridge and a built-in Phono EQ amplifier with gold-plated RCA jacks.

No matter how or what you want to connect to–Bluetooth speakers or headphones, a stereo with AUX input, or a component system with PHONO input–the Teac TN-400BT-X can do it, while that Turquoise Blue paint job ensures it will visually stand out from the usual silver, white, or black record spinners.

Pro-Ject Debut Reference 10

Finally, Austria’s Pro-Ject is releasing a new flagship model for its Debut lineup of turntables. The Pro-Ject Debut Reference 10 features a 10-inch long straight tonearm made of sandwiched carbon-fiber and aluminium. The company says the longer, hybrid tonearm supports full adjustability for both azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA) and reduces distortion, especially on inner grooves.

Other premium features include Pro-Ject’s new Pick it PRO B Balanced MM cartridge, an acrylic platter with aluminum sub-platter, a TPE damped aluminum counterweight, push-button speed change, damped and height-adjustable aluminum feet, an included Connect it Phono E RCA cable and a satin black finish. The company says that all aluminum components are finished with a diamond-cut for improved precision and a premium look.

U.S. pricing is yet to be confirmed, but based on the UK price, I expect it to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,500+.
