Galaxy Z Fold 6 leaks have exposed numerous details about Samsung’s new folding smartphone, but there are still some surprises to be revealed.

In a new post, popular leaker @MysteryLupin has highlighted a collection of images of both the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 and the cases that will go on sale alongside the new handsets. And these cases have confirmed details that many in the community hoped would not come to pass.

While the Galaxy Z Fold6 will support the S-Pen—Samsung’s multi-functional stylus—it will not have space inside the chassis to store the stylus. The giveaway is Samsung’s compact case, which comes with a slim S-Pen. There would be no need for an external module to carry the S-Pen if one was already built into the handset.

Samsung has always added new features to the S-Pen since its debut on the Galaxy Note in 2011, and the Galaxy Note always had space to store the stylus. When the Galaxy Note series was discontinued, it was effectively replaced by Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series. S-Pen support was included, but the S-Pen no longer had a home inside the Fold.

The community were hopeful that a redesign of the Galaxy Z Fold6 would make room for the S-Pen. As more details have come out, the design changes that can be seen have focused on a more boxy look and increased aspect ratios on the cover and inner displays.
