Following a slightly bumpy false start, Plugable has announced the launch of the world’s first 10-port USB-C charger that cab intelligently allocate power with 100W priority-based charging.
The Plugable PS-10CC has been designed for a wide range of users, from tech enthusiasts and families to small businesses, educational institutions and travelers. Originally announced on Kickstarter, in October 2024, the campaign managed to attract 100% backing in less than a day.
With a blend of efficiency, convenience and sustainability, the PS-10CC has the potential to change how people manage the charging of all their devices by reducing cable clutter, the lack of power outlets and slow charging.
In addition to providing prioritized charging, the PS-10CC is designed to lessen its environmental impact. The 10-port charger does not ship with a DC power supply. Instead, users are encouraged to use their laptop’s USB-C charger or a similar DSC power supply that they may already own.
By eliminating the power supply, Plugable says it has been able to reduce the overall shipping size and weight of the product, reducing fuel and emissions associated with shipping. The lack of a charger also reduces e-waste caused by the proliferation of redundant and unwanted power chargers that ship with many devices.
The PS-10CC uses real-time current sensing technology, enabling it to intelligently distribute power across all the connected devices in priority order from left to right. Whether it’s a power-hungry laptop or a small gadget like a smartwatch, the charger can dynamically adjust its power output to deliver the most efficient charge possible.

This method of real-time power adjustment ensures each device receives the optimal amount of power based on need, preventing potential overheating or energy waste while also maintaining high charging speeds across all 10 ports in priority order.
By taking advantage of priority charging, users can keep items like laptops and tablets plugged into the leftmost ports to ensure they are always topped up and ready to go. Lower priority devices further down the line can be left to trickly charge overnight without overburdening the power source.

Each port on the PS-10CC has a status light that glows solid blue when an attached device is charged. When the blue LEDs blinks, it shows that the attached device is currently charging, while purple shows which ports are available. The PS-10CC charger is built from 50% post-consumer recycled aluminum and 75% PCR PC+ABS.
