If you missed pre-ordering a limited edition 30th Anniversary PlayStation Slim when pre-orders went live earlier this month, you’re not alone. Units sold out almost instantly, as did the more expensive PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition.

The consoles are very cool, after all. They’re in classic PlayStation grey with a colorful PlayStation logo and corresponding PS button on the gamepad. I’ll be honest, I want one, too, but couldn’t make the purchase in time.

Now, the Slim and the grey DualSense controller are going back on sale at PlayStation Direct. The listings currently show “Please check back on October 29th from 9 AM PDT.” You’ll need to be in the US (as far as we know) and you’ll need to check at exactly 9am PDT or noon EDT. These will likely go fast. Prepare for disappointment.

A few things to note:

  • You’ll want to be logged into your PlayStation account beforehand. This will make any potential hiccups that much less likely.
  • There is already a queue, so hop in ASAP if you’re trying to buy one of these.
  • Here is the link for the PS5 Slim. Here’s the link for the controller.
  • As of now, no word on whether any more PS5 Pro editions will be available, but here’s the link. Here’s the link for the Edge controller.
  • Finally, there’s a PS Portal 30th Anniversary that’s also not currently available, but worth checking at 9am even though—like the Pro and Edge—these do not show the “check back” message for today.
  • The Slims are currently selling on eBay for about $800, with Pros going for $3,000 or more. This means scalpers and their bots will be on the prowl.
  • There were some unfortunate issues with the original pre-orders, with some customers getting cancellation notices due to payment and other issues. Make sure your payment options are ready to go before attempting a purchase.
  • Sony really needs to just release these models wide so that more fans can enjoy them. I understand having a limited run, but why not make that a little less limited? Do it for the fans, Sony!

All of these release on November 21st. Good luck!
