Samsung’s next generation of Galaxy S smartphones is expected to launch in January 2025, but there’s one community favorite that will surprise and delight before that moment. And that delight could come with an attractive price.

Before the end of the year, Samsung should release the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition. The popular FE brand will join the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the base Galaxy S24, which were all launched in January alongside the Galaxy AI software suite.

Samsung Fan Edition models offer as much performance and specifications as regular models but with some tweaks to reduce the price. This is the same shape as the numerous “flagship killer” handsets, such as the OnePlus Nord series, but in the case of Samsung, the FE editions are more akin to “flagship supporting” handsets.

Price is a key part of that equation. So the latest news on the S24 FE price will shine a bright light on the fourth S24 handset.

Previously, Samsung was expected to launch the European edition of the S24 FE with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for €799. That would be €100 more than last year’s equivalent model.

Now, respected source MysteryLupin has suggested that the price for the 8/128 model will be €749 and the 8/256 model for €809. This is still €50 more than the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition, but this price rise would be less than the price rise between the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24.

The S24 FE is expected to use Samsung’s in-house Exynos chipset. This will support the latest generative AI tools in the Galaxy AI suite, a 6.7-inch screen, a three-lens main camera with x3 optical zoom, and IP68 protection.
