In case you missed Monday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:
Another windy, chilly Tuesday here in the high desert mountains. It’s a good day to stay inside and watch TV and movies. Anything to avoid the cold outdoors! It’s also a great time to play some games, like Wordle or the New York Times Mini Crossword puzzle! Let’s solve today’s!
The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.
Answers to today’s Mini Crossword below . . . .

An interesting NYT Mini today. I actually got it all fairly easily, though some I had to fill in by solving other words. I guessed DAMP and TIGER right off the bat, then went to the DOWNs and guessed DATA (I wasn’t sure) and then got ALICE right away. At this point, I was pretty sure of ALOOF, which got me MOGUL and ACUTE. And that filled in POETS and FREE. Today’s mini took me 1:12.
How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
