In case you missed Monday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:
The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.
Spoilers ahead, obviously. Skip ahead for all the answers plus an image of today’s completed puzzle.

Today’s Mini Crossword had no blank boxes, and every single word—ACROSS and DOWN—was five-letters long. I skipped the first few ACROSS and then guessed CHEAP and EARTh for 8 and 9. I moved to the DOWN column and DANCE / ALOHA and REFER will all super easy, as was TREAT. This pretty solved the ones I wasn’t sure about like DARTS / NOFEE and STEPH. I got today’s Mini finished in 1 minute and 12 seconds. I get a little slowed down selecting things and accidentally going down instead of across or typing over letters by mistake, but this was still pretty quick! How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
