Not everyone can afford or wants to pay for an expensive pair of noise-canceling headphones, especially if they only get used during air travel. If that sounds familiar, then the new over-ear ANC headphones from Tribit could be of interest. The new QuietPlus+ 81 have a comfortable, foldable design that weighs just 283g, making them suitable for travel.
Tribit is an audio brand that makes a range of affordable wireless earbuds, headphones and Bluetooth speakers. The launch of the QuietPlus 81 expands the brand’s portfolio of wireless audio products and the headphones feature advanced noise cancellation technology with a long-lasting battery and smart functionality.
The QuietPlus 81 feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation powered by five built-in microphones and AI-driven noise-reduction algorithms. The ANC function reduces ambient noise by up to 45 dB, helping listeners stay focused whether commuting, working remotely, or relaxing at home.
Large Dynamic Drivers
Featuring 40mm dynamic drivers and customizable sound profiles, Tribit says the QuietPlus 81 headphones deliver rich audio with deep bass and clear highs. Users can personalize their listening experience using the six EQ modes available in the Tribit smartphone app. Other features include a Game mode, which reduces latency so that the audio of games or movies are always synchronized with the video.
To provide long battery life with fast charging capabilities, Tribit selected a rechargeable cell that could provide up to 110 hours of playback time with the ANC function turned off. Even with noise canceling turned on, the QuietPlus 81 can run for up to 70 hours. Fast-charge support delivers up to five hours of playtime at 50% volume from just ten minutes of charging.
These new headphones use the latest Bluetooth 6.0 technology for stable and efficient wireless connectivity at distances up to 50 meters with line of sight. The Bluetooth chipset also supports multi-point pairing so that two devices can be connected at the same time.
Transparency Mode
Additional features include a Transparency Mode for awareness of surrounding sounds. The QuietPlus 81 headphones also have five noise-cancelling microphones onboard for clearer voice calls in noisy environments.
A hearing protection mode is also available with the Tribit app, which can limit the maximum volume to under 85dB, making the headphones suitable for children. There are physical control buttons on the headphones for turning ANC on and off and adjusting the volume.
