The watchdog group Public Citizen launched a new tracker Tuesday to keep tabs on the financial interests of President-elect Donald Trump’s appointees.
The database details former clients and business interests of members of Trump’s presidential transition team and of his nominees for senior administration posts.
“The American people deserve to know who these appointees are — and who they’re really serving while in power,” Lisa Gilbert, co-president of Public Citizen, said Tuesday in a statement.
The tracker includes details about Trump’s early hires and nominees, including incoming chief of staff Susie Wiles, Interior Department nominee Doug Burgum and Energy Department nominee Chris Wright.
