After blind auditions, battles and live performances, The Voice has crowned a new champion. NBC’s hit singing competition announced its winning contestant and coach during the star-studded Season 28 finale on Tuesday night.
The two-part finale kicked off on Monday, Dec. 15, with four finalists advancing after being selected by their coaches: Aubrey Nicole (Team Reba), Jazz McKenzie (Team Michael), Ralph Edwards (Team Snoop) and Aiden Ross (Team Niall).
Carson Daly then announced the two wildcard artists, voted on by America, who received a second chance at the title. Pop-country trio DEK of Hearts (Team Niall) and 14-year-old Max Chambers (Team Bublé) were revealed as the two additions advancing to the final round.
Each singer or act performed two songs, one classic and one contemporary, as fans were instructed to vote for their winner on the show’s official website and The Voice app. Voting officially closed on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 7 a.m. ET.
The second part of the finale continued Tuesday evening, with the coaches performing together and singing duets with their finalists. Niall Horan did not sing due to illness and was on vocal rest, according to NBC. The former One Direction star’s finalist, Aiden Ross, instead teamed up with Season 23 winner Gina Miles, while DEK of Hearts sang alongside Reba McEntire.
Viewers were also treated to special guest performances, including a duet from Zac Brown and Noah Cyrus, the official TV debut of Japanese pop group XG, and sets from Khalid, Riley Green and former Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez III.

Who Won The Voice 2025?
Aiden Ross was crowned the winner of The Voice Season 28. The 20-year-old is currently a sophomore at Texas A&M University, where he’s studying industrial distribution. During his blind audition, he earned a four-chair turn for his moving rendition of Adele’s “Love in the Dark.”
Ross told Texas A&M that winning The Voice has given him the confidence to pursue his dream in music. He released his debut single, “Everything and More,” in September, and it already has more than 140,000 streams on Spotify. “I’m ready to give music my everything,” he said.
Tonight’s win marks Horan’s third The Voice victory as a coach, following back-to-back wins in Season 23 with Gina Miles and Season 24 with Huntley.
Ralph Edwards came in second place, followed by DEK of Hearts in third. Aubrey Nicole landed in fourth place, Max Chambers in fifth, while Jazz McKenzie rounded out the Season 28 results in sixth place.
