The Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The fields for the men’s and women’s Rumbles haven’t been completely filled, and there will be some obvious surprises. However, nine men and two women have already declared for their respective Rumbles.

Here is a look at all the men and women who have already thrown their proverbial hat into the ring for WWE’s 2025 Royal Rumble:

John Cena

The franchise is on his farewell tour and has his first opportunity to position himself to win a record 17 world championships. Cena announced he was in the Rumble during the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025.

CM Punk

It feels like Punk has been promised a main event spot at WrestleMania. He doesn’t have to get it by winning the Royal Rumble, but it would make sense for it to happen this way. Punk also announced his entry into the Rumble during the Raw on Netflix debut.

Roman Reigns

The Wiseman Paul Heyman made the announcement for Reigns on SmackDown on January 10, but it was Reigns who made the statement during Tribal Combat against Solo Sikoa during the Raw on Netflix debut. If you don’t think Reigns is still a true professional wrestler, you didn’t watch the match.

Seth Rollins

Rollins is in, but it doesn’t feel like he has a chance to win, and that’s too bad. I hate that Rollins has been used to put over guys on his level repeatedly. That said, when is Rollins not good at his job? Rollins declared on the January 13, 2025, episode of Raw.

Drew McIntyre

At some point, doesn’t it need to be Drew’s turn to win and hold the title for a little while? Maybe at some point, but I don’t consider him a strong favorite to win the Rumble. In his beef with Rollins, both men declared on the same episode of Raw.

LA Knight

Knight has to find it again. Right now, he seems a bit lost. His character comes off like a rapper with limited bars who needs excellent production to make solid music. Unfortunately, he hasn’t found the right producer, and I’m not expecting much from him at the Rumble. He hopped in back on the January 3, 2025, episode of SmackDown.

Jey Uso

No way Jey wins. Despite his meteoric rise and some excellent work, it doesn’t appear as though WWE sees him as the Rumble-winning type. I’d expect him to play an interesting role in the decision, though. Jey declared for the Rumble on the January 10, 2025, episode of SmackDown.

Rey Mysterio

The days of the little man winning the Rumble are over for Mysterio. I expect him to be involved in a cool spot, but if you’re looking for a repeat of 2006, you’re being delusional and are probably running around the house in one of the legend’s iconic masks. Mysterio announced his intentions on the January 17, 2025, episode of SmackDown.

Sami Zayn

Zayn was one of the more recent entrants into the 2025 Royal Rumble. There will be drama and a cool storyline, but Sami isn’t going to win. In any case, Zayn announced his participation on the January 20, 2025, episode of Raw.

On the women’s side, only two have declared for the Rumble:

Nia Jax

I believe Jax was a Top 3 heel in WWE in 2024, behind only Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. I don’t consider McIntyre a heel. Jax won the Queen of the Ring and became the WWE Women’s Champion. Because she had such a strong year and just lost the title when Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase, I think it is highly unlikely Jax wins the Rumble. Still, she declared on the January 13, 2025, episode of Raw.

Bayley

Bayley won in 2024 and there’s no way she wins back-to-back Rumbles. Let’s just leave it there. She declared for the match on the January 20, 2025, episode of Raw.
