The music industry’s biggest trade show, NAMM 2026, kicks off in Anaheim, California, from January 22 to 24. Many big names from the technology sector will be there, including Yamaha, which has just announced the global launch of its MGX Series digital mixing consoles, URX Series audio interfaces and CC1 USB controller.

Designed for musicians, performers, streamers, podcasters and content creators, the new lineup offers studio-quality sound and integration for a wide range of applications used in live performances, music production, podcasting and streaming. The new products will be on show at NAMM with interactive demos and detailed product walkthroughs.

“We’re not interested in adding digital features for their own sake — we’re focused on what truly helps engineers, musicians, and creators deliver great performances,” says Preston Gray, director of marketing, professional audio for Yamaha.

“The new MGX mixers extend the trusted MG family into the digital space with the same priorities: a musical, natural sound, straightforward operation and the confidence that comes from using a Yamaha console. Paired with the new interfaces and controller, this lineup gives performers, streamers, and creators a complete ecosystem they can trust – no matter the size of the gig or workflow.”

Digital Innovation

The MGX Series blends digital innovation with Yamaha’s heritage born from the company’s MG Series of analog mixers. Building on this legacy, the MGX Series uses advanced digital technology with superior sound and flexibility. There is support for 32-bit/96 kHz audio, multi-channel streaming and HDMI-USB video/audio interface on some of the models.

Yamaha’s URX Series offers class-leading audio performance with 32-bit/192 kHz support, ultra-low noise operation, and integrated mixing and routing. The URX44V adds HDMI-USB video/audio interface capability, making it a powerful hub for recording, streaming, and production.

Finally, Yamaha’s new CC1 USB Controller will be on display at NAMM. Designed for streamlined workflows demanded by creatives, the CC1controller has a 100mm motorized, touch-sensitive fader, 12 LCD keys that work with Elgato’s Stream Deck app, plus there’s integration with leading DAWs like Cubase, Nuendo and Pro Tools. The CC1 is designed for music production, live streaming and hybrid workflows, offering precise control and fast adjustments with multiple platforms, including OBS Studio.

Pricing and Availability:

Yamaha’s MGX Series pricing starts at $799.99. The URX Series has a starting price of $399.99. The CC1 Controller costs $399.99. All three ranges are available now through authorized Yamaha dealers.
