When Does Black Ops 7 Season 04 Reloaded Release?
Season 4 of BO7 is being overshadowed by the pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6, which began about 12 hours before the latest COD update.

The update lands June 25 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET across all modes, even with GTA 6 pre-orders dominating the conversation. Nicolas Cage headlines through the Nick Cage Event Pass running June 25 to July 23, whose free track hands out the AN-94 assault rifle and Executioner’s Duet melee weapon. The premium track costs 1,100 COD Points and unlocks the Cage operator plus the “Unlimited” skin.
Cage is playable across Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone and Endgame, a rare all-mode crossover for the franchise.
What Are The New Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Maps And Modes?
The piece I’m most excited about is BO Classic becoming a permanent mode, but in addition to that, Zenith, a new 6v6 and 2v2 map, drops as well.
Zenith is a new medium-sized battleground built for both 6v6 and 2v2, while Launch returns from the original Black Ops as a full remaster. On top of the permanent Black Ops Classic rotation, two modes arrive in Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, a 6v6 playlist with rotating Weapon Blueprints, and Knife Fight, a 2v2 melee twist on Gunfight.
Black Ops Classic strips out omnimovement and wall-jumping for a grounded, throwback feel, which is a big reason it became a fan favorite this season. Its permanent rotation now includes Launch, Fringe, Hacienda and Gridlock.
What’s New In Black Ops 7 Zombies?
The Kowakujō just sounds spooky. When you find out it’s a lava-scorched version of a Japanese castle, it’s a little more intriguing.
The map introduces the armored Oni, which swings a spiked kanabō, plus Scorched Zombies and fiery Hellhounds tied to its lava-field hazards. It also brings a new but still-undisclosed Wonder Weapon, the Hellping Hound Legendary GobbleGum that summons a friendly Hellhound, and the PPSh-41 as an Ultra-Rarity Mystery Box weapon.
The full patch notes also detail extensive weapon tuning across every class.
Story-wise, the crew is chasing the final Shadowsmith and the World Seed, with Takeo and Carver central to the Kowakujō main quest that unlocks at launch.
What’s New In Black Ops 7 Endgame?
A new skill track called Guardian and there are new exotics coming. The biggest news is Operation King Killer as it is Act IV for Endgame.
Operation King Killer pushes into Avalon’s Zone III and higher, culminating in the Prime Target Glitch Boss and rewards like the “Data Freeze” Operator Skin. The Guardian skill track turns players into a tanky frontline anchor with proximity revives, while the exotics Defrag and Cryoshear join the arsenal. With Endgame’s story wrapping here, attention is already turning to the next Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 4.
It marks the end of Endgame’s seasonal Glitch storyline, a notable close for a mode that moved to free-to-play earlier this year.
