Mac Miller died almost eight years ago, in September 2018, when he was only 26. By that point, the rapper had already been a major musical star for years, and since his passing, his family has overseen the release of several albums, and his popularity has seemingly continued to grow.

Earlier in 2026, “Cinderella,” Miller’s collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign from his decade-old album The Divine Feminine, suddenly went viral and became a surprise hit. The song has spent weeks rising on charts around the world, and this frame, Miller comes within one space of earning his first No. 1 on a Billboard ranking – but one of hip-hop’s most successful artists ever beats him to the top spot.

Mac Miller Nearly Reaches No. 1 for the First Time

“Cinderella” rises from No. 3 to No. 2 on the Rap Streaming Songs chart, which ranks the most-streamed rap tracks in the United States on sites like Spotify, Apple Music, and several other popular apps. The collaboration reaches a new peak nine weeks into its run and misses out on ruling by only one rung.

Even before this week’s improvement, “Cinderella” already stood as Miller’s highest-charting hit on the tally. Only three of his tunes have reached the top 10, including this latest smash. “Good News” held as his most impressive placement for years after peaking at No. 4, while “The Spins” pushed to No. 10 earlier in 2026. Amazingly, two of Miller’s three Rap Streaming Songs top 10s have entered that region this year alone.

Here are all of Mac Miller’s hits on the Rap Streaming Songs chart.

  • “5 Dollar Pony Rides”
  • “Blue World”
  • “Cinderella”
  • “Funny Papers”
  • “Good News”
  • “Hurt Feelings”
  • “Self Care”
  • “The Spins”

Drake Blocks Mac Miller From the Summit

Miller is stopped from earning his first No. 1 by Drake’s “Janice STFU,” which holds atop the Rap Streaming Songs chart. The smash debuted in the peak position in late May and has yet to vacate the summit during its eight weeks on the tally.

“Janice STFU” ties “In My Feelings” as one of Drake’s longest-running champions on the streaming-focused roster. The Canadian superstar has sent an incredible 232 tracks to the chart. 23 of them have climbed to – or debuted at – No. 1.

Here are all of Drake’s No. 1s on the Rap Streaming Songs chart.

  • “First Person Shooter”
  • “God’s Plan”
  • “Hotline Bling”
  • “IDGAF”
  • “In My Feelings”
  • “Janice STFU”
  • “Jimmy Cooks”
  • “Laugh Now Cry Later”
  • “Meltdown”
  • “Nice for What”
  • “Nonstop”
  • “Only”
  • “Push Ups”
  • “Rich Flex”
  • “Search & Rescue”
  • “Staying Alive”
  • “Toosie Slide”
  • “Wait for U”
  • “Way 2 Sexy”
  • “What Did I Miss?”
  • “What’s Next”
  • “Which One”
  • “Yes Indeed”

“Cinderella” Climbs at Rhythmic Radio

“Cinderella” reaches another new peak on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, jumping from No. 31 to No. 28 during its second week on the radio tally. The collaboration is already Miller’s third-highest-charting hit on the roster. Only “The Way,” his team-up with one-time girlfriend Ariana Grande, and “Dang!” with Anderson .Paak have climbed to loftier spaces, peaking at Nos. 2 and 20, respectively.

Mac Miller Reaches a New Global High

“Cinderella” also steps up one space to No. 127 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., which ranks the most-consumed songs around the world using sales and streaming activity while purposefully removing consumption from the U.S. A companion tally, the Billboard Global 200, does include plays and purchases from American music lovers. “Cinderella” remains Miller’s only song to appear on the worldwide ranking, and both the track and the musician reach new all-time peaks this time around.

“Cinderella” Holds In Fourth Place on Two Charts

The viral hit is steady at No. 4 on both the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts this week. That is as high as the duet of sorts has climbed on the first ranking, but “Cinderella” has topped out in third place on the list of the most-consumed rap-only tunes in the nation.

“Cinderella” Slips on Four Additional Billboard Rankings

While “Cinderella” rises or holds on several genre and radio rosters, it backtracks on four other lists at the same time. The collaboration falls on the Billboard Hot 100, Streaming Songs, Billboard Global 200 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, though it continues to find space inside the uppermost region on the latter register.

Mac Miller Fills Two Spaces on the Rap Streaming Chart

Miller claims two spaces on this week’s Rap Streaming Songs chart. As “Cinderella” nearly conquers the ranking, “The Spins,” another older favorite that became a hit earlier this year, returns to the roster at No. 15.
