Altruist is launching a high-yield cash savings product for clients of financial advisors, a move that could help the company attract more registered investment advisors to its custody platform.
Altruist Cash offers a 5.1% annual percentage yield and, through agreements with partner banks, FDIC insurance of up to $1 million for individual accounts and $2 million for joint accounts, according to the company.
