Ariana Grande was snubbed – according to many major media outlets – when it comes to the list of nominees for the 2026 Academy Awards. The singer and actress was hoping to land her second consecutive nod for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Glinda in Wicked: For Good, but she was passed over. Not hearing her name called may have been disappointing, but Grande has several chances to collect new Grammys in only a few days, as she is currently up for two prizes.

2026 looks packed for the superstar, as she is headed out on her Eternal Sunshine Tour this summer, while her next movie, Focker-In-Law, arrives later this year. Amidst an Oscars snub and several high-profile upcoming projects, some fans may have missed that this week, Grande collects a new hit on Billboard’s global ranking with a nearly decade-old tune.

“Into You” Debuts on the Billboard Global 200

Grande’s “Into You” launches on the Billboard Global 200, narrowly managing to reach the roster, which details the most consumed songs around the world. “Into You” opens at No. 197 on the competitive tally.

Ariana Grande Earns Yet Another Global Smash

Grande earns her fifty-first placement on the Billboard Global 200 as “Into You” debuts. The track is her first new arrival of 2026, and “Into You” follows a busy 2025 after Grande delivered the deluxe edition of her album Eternal Sunshine, which she titled Brighter Days Ahead. All half-dozen tunes featured on the extended take landed on the Billboard Global 200 for at least a short time. The biggest of the bunch, “Twilight Zone,” started off at No. 7, while two other cuts, “Dandelion” and “Warm,” launched within the top 40.

“Into You” Counted Among Ariana Grande’s Lowest-Peaking Songs

“Into You” ranks as the second-lowest-peaking cut of the 51 tracks Grande has sent to the Billboard Global 200. Only “Just Look Up,” the singer’s collaboration with Kid Cudi, which was written and recorded for the film of the same name, stalled in a lower spot. “Just Look Up” spent one frame at No. 198 in December 2021 and has not been seen on the list since.

Ariana Grande Fills Four Spaces on the Billboard Global 200

Grande fills four spaces on the Billboard Global 200 this frame. As “Into You” arrives, “Save Your Tears” and “Die for You” – two collaborations with Canadian pop and R&B superstar The Weeknd – as well as her own “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” dip from where they sat last frame. Those tunes settle at Nos. 51, 115, and 151, respectively.

“Save Your Tears,” “Die for You,” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” also take up space on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., though “Into You” does not appear on that roster. The Billboard Global Excl. U.S. differs from the Billboard Global 200 in that sales and streaming activity from American consumers do not factor into where a song lands, or if it manages to appear at all.

“Into You” Turns 10 Later This Year

Grande dropped “Into You” in May 2016, which means that in a few months, the song, which only becomes a global smash this frame, will turn 10. The tune served as the second official single from her third album, Dangerous Woman, following the title track in America. “Into You” peaked at No. 13 on the Hot 100, barely missing out on adding to her growing list of top 10 smashes.

Its predecessor, “Dangerous Woman,” as well as its successor, “Side to Side,” a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, rose all the way to Nos. 8 and 4, respectively. Final Dangerous Woman single “Everyday,” which also credits rapper Future, never made it into the top 40. Instead, it only ever soared to No. 55.

Ariana Grande’s Two Albums Appear on Billboard 200

Looking specifically at the American charts, Grande does not claim any hit songs, although two albums do appear on the Billboard 200. Eternal Sunshine drops nearly 10 spaces to No. 84, while Thank U, Next slips just two spaces, landing at No. 151. Both of those studio efforts have previously run the show on the all-encompassing ranking of the most popular albums and EPs in the nation.
