Brian Snitker’s place in Atlanta Braves history has already been secured. After spending five decades with the organization and guiding the franchise to a World Series championship in 2021, the longtime manager recently added another milestone by earning induction into the Braves Hall of Fame.
Even in retirement, however, Snitker continues to represent the organization in prominent settings. His latest public appearance came during President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Cobb County, where the Braves’ legendary former skipper delivered a message that quickly caught the attention of baseball fans.

Speaking during the event, Snitker sent a championship message to the president while joining him onstage alongside team CEO Mike Plant.
“Mike and I presented President Trump with one of our Fourth of July 250th anniversary jerseys that the team wore over that weekend,” Snitker said at the recent rally, as seen in a video relayed by WXIA News. “And I just wanted to tell President Trump that we’re going to be back in Washington D.C. in about a year from now and we’re going to give him another world championship jersey.”
Earlier in his remarks, Snitker also welcomed the president by indicating that the crowd at the rally event was representative of the team’s fanbase.
“And as you can see, Braves Country is a real thing,” Snitker said. “And you got a room full of Braves Country right here.”
Snitker’s comments at the rally amounted to a bold prediction for a Braves organization attempting to return to championship contention after several disappointing seasons. While Atlanta has undergone significant roster turnover since its 2021 title run, Snitker made clear he believes another World Series parade is still within reach under his replacement Walt Weiss.

The championship promise came only a few months after Snitker was formally honored for one of the longest tenures in franchise history.
“With his family in the front two rows, Snitker reflected prior to his induction as the 42nd member of the Braves Hall of Fame before Atlanta played the Philadelphia Phillies,” the Associated Press reported in April. “Snitker, 70, is in his 50th year with the organization, which includes managing for 10 years from 2016-2025. He skippered the Braves to the 2021 World Series title and reached the playoffs seven times. The Braves won the NL East six straight years under Snitker and his career record was 811-668.”
Those accomplishments transformed Snitker into one of the most successful managers in franchise history and a legend of the franchise, making him one of the defining figures of the Braves’ modern era.
Whether his promise to the president proves accurate remains to be seen. But even after stepping away from the dugout, Snitker continues serving as one of the organization’s most recognizable ambassadors — and he’s already promising to return to Washington with another championship jersey in hand.
