Related Companies and development partner Oxford Properties Group aren’t waiting until 2028 to choose a culinary superstar for 70 Hudson Yards.

Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his Jean-Georges Management will launch three dining concepts at the rising 52-story, 832-foot-tall skyscraper at Hudson Boulevard East at West 35th Street.

Financial consulting giant Deloitte will be the tower’s anchor tenant with more than 800,000 square feet. The tower’s designers are architectural firms Gensler and Roger Ferris + Partners.

Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will open three dining concepts at the 52-story 70 Hudson Yards tower, which is under construction.

Multi-Michelin star-holder Vongerichten’s management company operates more than 60 restaurants in 14 global locations. In his home base of New York City are flagship Jean-Georges, Nougatine, Four Twenty Five, and four casual places branded as ABC in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

And, next, 70 Hudson Yards. The new venues will comprise roughly 10,000 square feet, including an intimate, 2,000 square foot, 50-seat lobby restaurant; a 3,000 square-foot “ABC to Go” concept, also on the ground floor; and over 5,000 square feet of event and pre-event space on the 46th floor. Vongerichten will also manage a catering program for office tenants.

Vongerichten enthused, “We look forward to bringing these new dining experiences to the area and becoming part of the community.”

Related executive vice president Andrew Cantor said, “We’ve been deliberate about every partner we bring to 70 Hudson Yards, and each must meet the standard of a workplace built for the highest performance and add to the vibrancy of the overall neighborhood. Jean-Georges does that and more.”

Oxford global development head Dean Shapiro added, “Welcoming a culinary brand of this caliber is yet another indication of the exceptional destination and experience we are creating.”

At least 80% of offices are already committed at 70 Hudson Yards, where a mystery tenant recently snagged the top two penthouse floors with 52,000 square feet at a rent rumored to be above $320 per square foot.

The once desolate Far West Side is today a magnet for top chefs and owners as well as for marquee-name corporate tenants. Hudson Yards is already home to Jose Andres’ Mercado Little Spain, Andrew Carmellini’s Locanda Verde, Gabriel Kreuether’s Saverne, Dan Kluger’s Greywinds  and also to Big Apple favorites Estiatorio Milos and BondST. Hot-button Tao Group operates Peak on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards.

Brookfield’s Manhattan West, which is immediately  east of Related’s complex, boasts Danny Meyer’s  Ci Siamo and Mideastern favorite Zou Zou’s.
