On Saturday in Orlando, Florida, DAZN delivers an interesting mix of fights, featuring three intriguing young fighters looking to gain experience, victories, and respect.
The Matchroom Boxing show will be headlined by rising middleweight Austin “Ammo” Williams taking on Patrice Volny. In the co-main event, former 168-pound title challenger Edgar Berlanga is back in action against Jonathan Gonzalez-Ortiz.
Berlanga isn’t happy about being the co-feature, and he made that known during fight week, but more on that in a bit.
Opening the televised portion of the card, Olympic medalist Omari Jones makes his pro debut against Alessio Mastronunzio. Here is a breakdown of the card along with watch info.

Williams bounced back from his first pro defeat—a KO loss to Hamzah Sheeraz in June 2024—with a stoppage win over Gian Garrido in November 2024.
He is continuing his move back toward a title opportunity at middleweight as he battles Volny. The 35-year-old Canadian has a 19-1 record with 13 KOs, and he appears to be the right kind of opponent for Williams at this point in his career.
The fight should test Williams a bit, and it will let us know if he is ready to take another step up in competition.
In the co-main event, Puerto Rican KO artist Berlanga clashes with Gonzalez-Ortiz. Last time out, Berlanga lost a lopsided decision to Canelo Alvarez in September 2024. He, too, is looking to bounce back, but it is clear the 27-year-old from New York doesn’t feel like he should be in a co-main event.
“It’s disrespectful,” Berlanga said. “It’s disrespectful to me. It’s disrespectful to my fans. I go in that ring and I fight. I gave the people that was out of this world with Canelo Alvarez. We went out there and we went to war for 12 rounds. For me to go from that to this is like, people is just trippin. My stock grew so much after that fight that I should be fighting one of these big fights against [Jaime]
Munguia or Caleb Plant.”
Berlanga made it clear he wants out of his contract with Matchroom.
I spoke with Berlanga in an exclusive interview, and he spoke more about Ortiz.
“Everybody knows what type of level he’s on. He’s not on my level. I just gotta go out there and handle my business.”
As for Jones, he is ready to prove he is going to be a force at 154 pounds. I spoke with him a few weeks ago as he moved closer to his professional debut. I asked him if he has felt pressure from the attention he’s received from being a sought-after Olympian.
“I definitely feel like it’s a blessing,” Jones said in an exclusive interview. “For a lot of promoters to come to me and reach out. It’s obvious that they see something in me to make me a superstar.”
