Throughout much of 2026, Ella Langley has dominated Billboard‘s country charts. She regularly appears at No. 1 on many of the genre-specific lists, as well as some of the even more competitive non-style-specific tallies with “Choosin’ Texas.” Langley’s breakout smash is one of the most popular songs of the past six months in America, and nearly half a year after it was released, it remains a blockbuster.

On more than one occasion, Langley has blocked herself from scoring a new No. 1 on country charts, as “Choosin’ Texas” refuses to step aside. Now, she accomplishes that same feat on one of Billboard‘s most competitive rankings, where she almost trades one bestseller for another.

Ella Langley Pushes “Be Her” to No. 2

On this week’s Digital Song Sales chart, the list of the bestselling tunes in America, Langley sees her latest single, “Be Her,” hit a new high. That cut, the second official promotional selection from her sophomore album Dandelion, pushes from No. 5 to No. 2, and only one bestseller keeps it from finally reaching the summit 14 weeks into its time on the tally.

“Choosin’ Texas” Blocks “Be Her” from the Summit

“Choosin’ Texas” is comfortable at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart once more. The career-making win has now spent 31 weeks on the rundown, eight of which have been in the penthouse. “Choosin’ Texas” debuted in November of last year, and by the end of that month, it had worked its way to the peak position. Since then, many hits have replaced it at the summit, but Americans continue to buy “Choosin’ Texas” in large enough numbers that it proves unbeatable fairly regularly.

Ella Langley Wins the Sales Race – Twice Over

According to data shared by Luminate, while Langley occupies the highest two spaces on the Digital Song Sales chart, there was no real race between “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her.” The No. 1 tune sold a little more than 8,600 copies in the most recently completed tracking frame. “Be Her” didn’t manage even half of that, as it racked up 3,500 purchases.

Ella Langley Claims Four Top 10s This Week

While Langley might not collect another champion on the Digital Song Sales chart this week, it’s been less than a month since she doubled her total number of leaders. Earlier in May, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” her collaboration with fellow country powerhouse Morgan Wallen, launched at No. 1. That tune spent just one frame ruling, though it hasn’t drifted very far. This time around, “I Can’t Love You Anymore” slips to No. 4 in its fourth stint on the register.

Langley occupies four spaces on the Digital Song Sales chart this week, and all of her hits live inside the top 10. “You Look Like You Love Me,” one of multiple team-ups with country singer-songwriter Riley Green, advances from No. 15 to No. 7. That early career win is nearing a year as one of the 25 top-selling songs in the nation, and it comes close to repeating at its all-time high of No. 5.

“Be Her” Misses No. 1 Again on Several Charts

The Digital Song Sales chart is one of four rosters where “Choosin’ Texas” blocks “Be Her” from finally reaching No. 1. The same showing also takes place on the Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales tallies. On each and every one of those rundowns, “Be Her” has topped out in second place.

“Be Her” also makes a play for the throne on the Country Airplay chart, and just as is the case on several other Billboard tallies, it misses the mark by just one spot. On that list, however, it is not “Choosin’ Texas” that keeps it from ruling the roost, but Tucker Wetmore’s “Brunette,” which dances from No. 3 to the top space.
