On Saturday night, former UFC champion Ronda Rousey did her thing. That thing? Go out and submit her opponent via armbar in under a minute. Rousey’s opponent on the MVP MMA card at Intuit Dome was former Strikeforce women’s title challenger Gina Carano. The two MMA legends both earned disclosed fight purses of over $1 million, with Rousey taking home a reported $2.2 million and Carano earning $1.05 million. The fight lasted 17 seconds.

The Rousey vs. Carano fight marked the first time the fighters had stepped into the cage in years. Rousey’s previous bout was her 2016 knockout loss to Amanda Nunes for the UFC women’s bantamweight title. As for Carano, her last fight was a 2009 knockout setback to Cris Cyborg for the Strikeforce crown.
