Collectibles company Funko is producing a freaky Pop! figure of Inde Navarrette’s spellbinding character, Nikki, from Curry Barker’s horror movie blockbuster Obsession.
Written and directed by Barker, Obsession was released on May 15 after being acquired by Focus Features at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. Michael Johnston plays Bear, a music store employee who has a hopeless crush on his co-worker Nikki.
When it becomes apparent to Bear that Nikki just wants to remain friends, he uses a novelty item called a “One Wish Willow” to wish Nikki would love him more than anyone in the world. When Bear’s wish comes true, all seems blissful at first for the couple, but it quickly escalates into Nikki (aka “Freaky Nikki”) displaying deadly, obsessive behavior around her new boyfriend and others.
Made for $750,000 and acquired by Focus for about $15 million, Obsession earned over $17 million in its opening weekend and established a dominant presence throughout the summer. Over the July 4th holiday weekend, Obsession crossed the $400 million mark at the worldwide box office and as of Saturday, the film’s global tally stands at $408.9 million.
Now, as Obsession continues to bring crowds into theaters and develops a following digital streaming, Funko is granting fans’ wishes for a Nikki collectible by manufacturing a Pop! figure of Navarrette’s character. Funko recently announced that it is making the Pop! Nikki (Bloody) figure, which depicts the character during the film’s horrific party scene.
The Funko Pop! figure of Nikki is holding a One Wish Willow package, even though the character was not holding the item in the movie. It seems to be a logical substitute for the broken bottle used to produce her bloody wounds in the shocking scene in the film.
Funko’s POP! Nikki Figure From ‘Obsession’ Is Available For Pre-Order
The vinyl figure, which is 4 inches tall, retails for $14.99 and is available for pre-order on Funko’s retail site. Only a concept 2D rendering image of the Pop! Nikki figure has been released by the company so far.
Funko noted on its product page that Pop! Obsession Nikki (Bloody) figure is estimated to ship on Dec. 15.
Since the Funko Pop! line began in 2010, the company has produced tens of thousands of vinyl figures from the brand depicting celebrities from the world of pop culture, including movies, television, celebrities, sports and more.
Just recently, the company announced the production of Heated Rivalry Funko Pops! figures of Connor Storrie’s Ilya Rozanov and Hudson Williams’ Shane Hollander from the HBO Max streaming sensation Heated Rivalry.
Rated R, Obsession — which also stars Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless and Andy Richter — is playing in theaters and is available on digital streaming.
