More than a year after releasing his surprise album Swag, Justin Bieber is still in promotional mode. The Canadian pop superstar recently performed during the first-ever World Cup halftime show, where he sang “Everything Hallelujah,” which is featured on the quick Swag follow-up Swag II.

Several tracks from the original Swag, including “Daisies” and “Yukon,” remain hits around the world, and both continue to perform well in the United Kingdom. Amazingly, despite Bieber’s high-profile performance of “Everything Hallelujah” and his push behind the Swag II single “Speed Demon,” it is a tune from more than a decade ago that becomes a bestseller again and climbs on every ranking on which it appears.

Justin Bieber Returns to Two U.K. Sales Charts

“Beauty and a Beat,” Bieber’s collaboration with Nicki Minaj, returns to two sales rankings in the U.K. this week. The smash reappears at Nos. 75 and 81 on the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, respectively.

The two tallies measure slightly different forms of consumption. The Official Singles Sales chart combines digital downloads with physical purchases – those on CD, cassette and vinyl – while the Official Singles Downloads ranking focuses only on tracks bought via online stores.

The History of “Beauty and a Beat” on the Charts

Between the rosters where it returns this week, “Beauty and a Beat” has performed significantly better on the downloads-only chart. The collaboration has spent 35 weeks on that list and previously climbed as high as No. 16.

The electronic dance-pop tune has managed only eight frames on the Official Singles Sales chart – just a fraction of its run on the downloads tally. It has also never broken into the top 40 on the sales ranking, though it came close, stopping just shy of the region, at No. 44.

Justin Bieber Climbs on Two More U.K. Rankings

“Beauty and a Beat” appears on another two rankings in the U.K, this week, and it gains ground on both of them. The song performs best at the moment on the Official Streaming chart, where it rises from No. 32 to No. 30. The collaboration also advances three spaces from No. 66 to No. 63 on the Official Singles chart. The U.K.’s main songs list combines streaming activity with digital and physical purchases.

While “Beauty and a Beat” currently sits higher on the streaming-only roster, it soared to a loftier peak on the Official Singles chart. The Bieber and Minaj collaboration surged all the way to No. 3 on the main tally, compared with a No. 5 best on the Official Streaming ranking.

Justin Bieber Doubles Up With “Daisies”

“Daisies” helps Bieber fill two spaces on both the Official Singles and Official Streaming charts. The Swag cut rises slightly on each of those lists this time around. At the moment, the lead single from the album – which recently turned one – sits at No. 54 on the streaming rundown and No. 84 on the general consumption chart.

Justin Bieber Charts Hits From Very Different Eras

Bieber also occupies a pair of spaces on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart with tracks from very different eras of his career. Both rise this week, and both previously missed out on ruling the genre roster by only one space.

“Baby,” Bieber’s collaboration with Ludacris and one of the oldest smashes in his catalog, advances eight slots to No. 30. “Yukon,” featured on Swag, follows only three spaces behind.
