What’s In the Latest Madden 27 Update?
Title Update 1 — August 10
The launch day patch has addressed the speed boosting that crept its way into gameplay. That’s the biggest and most impacting change especially for the online community. Franchise mode is in a solid place, but there are still some lingering issues with the improved mode. A few were addressed on Day One: draft presentation and the Edit Coach screen saw the most love.
What’s Still Broken in Madden 27?
There are still issues with bugs that happen when you edit players in a draft class, and the CPU still isn’t properly managing Wear and Tear. Nothing breaks things at full scale, but it’s worth knowing so you can work around it until things are patched.
What’s New in Madden Ultimate Team Right Now?
Almost everything is live in MUT. Head-to-Head Seasons is running, and Field Pass collectibles and Season 1 Tickets spent in the Season Store can go toward upgrading one of the 80 OVR players to 85. So far, Calais Campbell and Michael Pittman Jr. have been named.

When Is the Next Madden 27 Update?
We know the Luke Kuechly MUT item drops from 86 OVR to 80 on August 20. I’d imagine another gameplay and overall update will land then as well. On Sept 9, the bigger update is likely on the way with the beginning of the NFL season.
