Monday’s MLB best home run bets provided readers with another winner, as James Wood hit a home run at +250 odds. Unfortunately, Luis Garcia didn’t hit a home run with his power-packed teammate. The home run props split, and the season’s record sits at 16-53, with three no-bets for players who didn’t play on the day their home run bet was touted.

The season record is rock-solid for a long-shot prop like a home run bet. Thus, the MLB best home run bets have generated a $1,042 profit for readers who bet $100 on each home run prop at the listed odds.

As the MLB All-Star break approaches, tonight offers another opportunity to add to the first half’s profits. Two young left-handed sluggers have the most alluring home run props on tonight’s Major League Baseball slate.

MLB Best Home Run Bets

Munetaka Murakami (Chicago White Sox – 1B)

Over 0.5 Home Runs (+350) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Munetaka Murakami is projected to be activated from the Injured List (IL), giving him an opportunity to add to his impressive 20 home runs in 57 games and 246 plate appearances in his first year in MLB. The 26-year-old left-handed hitter has drilled four home runs in 72 plate appearances against lefties and 16 in 174 against righties.

Murakami has jaw-dropping batted-ball data. Among 254 qualified hitters in 2026, he’s tied for 10th in barrels per plate appearance rate (10.2%), fourth in barrels per batted-ball event rate (20.7%), fourth in hard-hit rate (58.7%), third in fly-ball and line-drive exit velocity (100.2 mph) and 34th in maximum exit velocity (114.1 mph). Murakami also has a 14.5-degree launch angle, a 46.3% fly-ball rate, a 35.7% home run per fly-ball rate (HR/FB) and a 43.8% pull rate. He’s doing an outstanding job of lifting and launching the ball.

He has a favorable matchup tonight. Jacob Lopez is the opener for the Athletics tonight, and he’s permitted 11 home runs at 1.84 home runs allowed per nine innings (HR/9) in 13 appearances (10 starts) in 2026, including allowing two home runs to 76 left-handed batters.

Aaron Civale is expected to work as the primary pitcher behind Lopez, and he’s an even more favorable matchup for Murakami. Civale has coughed up 16 home runs at 1.99 HR/9 in 15 starts this year, permitting 11 homers to 192 left-handed batters. Murakami could get on the board with a home run in the first inning against Lopez, but he’ll have opportunities to do so against Civale after that if he doesn’t.

Bryce Eldridge (San Francisco Giants – 1B)

Over 0.5 Home Runs (+573) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Bryce Eldridge hit a splash home run into McCovey Cove last night, his eighth home run of the year in 205 plate appearances for the Giants.

Eldridge has belted six of his eight homers this year against right-handed pitching, and he’ll take aim at a homer-prone righty tonight. Tanner Gordon has coughed up 11 home runs at 2.18 HR/9 in 11 appearances (four starts) in 2026. He allowed four home runs in his last start. In addition, Gordon has allowed nine home runs to 108 left-handed batters this season.

Eldridge has the power to take advantage of his matchup, as evidenced by his batted-ball data. Among 254 qualified batters this season, Eldridge is tied for 52nd in barrels per plate appearance rate (8.0%), tied for 48th in barrels per batted-ball event rate (12.7%), tied for eighth in hard-hit rate (54.0%), tied for 17th in fly-ball and line-drive exit velocity (97.1 mph) and 42nd in maximum exit velocity (113.4 mph). Eldridge should club a home run tonight, and his +573 odds offered at DraftKings Sportsbook for his home run prop are dreamy.
