In less than a decade, Morgan Wallen has become one of the most successful country artists of all time, according to the charts. He has already collected one of the largest sums of No. 1s on the Country Airplay list, one of the busiest and most competitive radio rankings published by Billboard.

Wallen added to his list of champions earlier this year, and it looks like he will do so again very soon — perhaps with multiple singles. This frame, the singer-songwriter occupies both the runner-up position and third place on the airplay tally, while a third collaboration continues to climb farther down the list.

Morgan Wallen Claims Two of the Biggest Country Radio Hits

“Don’t We” holds steady at No. 2 on the Country Airplay chart, matching the all-time peak the latest I’m the Problem single established last week. The tune has yet to reach the summit, but it stands a great shot at giving Wallen another leader on the ranking, which tracks the most-heard songs on country radio stations throughout the United States.

Directly beneath “Don’t We,” “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” Wallen’s collaboration with Ella Langley, climbs to a new peak of No. 3. The duet is now also competing for the top spot.

Jason Aldean Blocks Both Morgan Wallen Singles from No. 1

Jason Aldean’s “Don’t Tell on Me” holds at No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart, preventing either of Wallen’s tracks from leading. The country singer’s single reached the top spot last week and became Aldean’s twenty-seventh ruler on the radio tally.

Before “Don’t Tell on Me” climbed to the top space, Aldean was matched with Alan Jackson, George Strait and Luke Bryan, as all four country superstars had scored 26 No. 1s. Aldean now stands alone with the fourth-most leaders in the history of the tally, pushing those men to fifth place on the list of the acts with the most rulers.

Only Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and Tim McGraw have collected more champions. They have racked up 33, 30 and 29 No. 1s, respectively.

Morgan Wallen May Earn His Twenty-First No. 1 Soon

Wallen holds with his 20 No. 1s on the Country Airplay chart. If either “Don’t We” or “I Can’t Love You Anymore” rises to the summit, he will collect his milestone twenty-first leader. One more victory will move Wallen past both Brad Paisley and Luke Combs, who are tied with him at the moment with 20 leaders apiece. Another moment in the spotlight would help Wallen tie Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett, who have each racked up 21 No. 1s and, the two jointly claim the eighth-largest sum in the history of the ranking.

“McArthur” Reaches a New Country Radio Peak

Wallen claims a third rising hit on the Country Airplay chart with “McArthur,” a collaboration that also features Hardy, Eric Church and McGraw. The star-packed team-up, which dropped this spring, climbs to a new high of No. 17 this time around.

Luke Combs May Catch Up Again

Even if Wallen earns another No. 1 and pulls ahead of Combs, that tie may not remain broken for long. Combs is also moving toward the summit with “Be By You,” which climbs to a new high of No. 5 on this week’s Country Airplay chart.
