2026 is turning out to be a huge year for My Chemical Romance. The group has not returned with a new album – even though it has been a decade and a half since the rockers delivered Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys – but fans around the world have been showing their love for the emo heroes.

The outfit is currently on its Long Live the Black Parade tour, which began last summer and which is scheduled to end in November. A run of shows throughout Europe recently concluded, and later in August, the band will return to the United States. It will perform throughout the summer and fall before traveling to several countries in Asia to conclude the trek, which has already earned more than $100 million in grosses.

Due largely to the tour, as well as special rereleases, My Chemical Romance has been performing well on charts in territories where it has recently played. In the U.S. this week, multiple albums from the group are present on at least one Billboard ranking apiece, and one of them brings the troupe to a new milestone.

My Chemical Romance Reaches 150 Weeks

The Black Parade celebrates its one hundred fiftieth week on the Billboard 200. The album rises three spaces to No. 173 on the ranking, which is built to display the most-consumed albums and EPs of any style in the nation. Both sales and streams are counted in the tally’s methodology.

The Black Parade becomes the first release from My Chemical Romance to reach 150 frames on the Billboard 200. In a little more than a month, it will likely become the band’s first project to spend three full years on the tally.

My Chemical Romance Owns Two 100-Week Albums

The Black Parade is one of only two collections by My Chemical Romance to rack up triple-digit weeks on the Billboard 200. The other, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, has spent 118 turns on the tally – so far.

None of the band’s other four charting projects have come close to reaching the same milestone. In fact, none of them have managed even half a year on the roster.

Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys has spent 16 weeks on the Billboard 200. May Death Never Stop You: The Greatest Hits 2001–2013, Life on the Murder Scene and The Black Parade Is Dead! have earned six, five and three frames, respectively.

My Chemical Romance Nearly Reached No. 1

The Black Parade is also the highest-charting album of My Chemical Romance’s career on the Billboard 200. The set debuted and peaked at No. 2 in November 2006, nearly scoring one of the standout rock acts from the aughts a coveted champion.

Four of the half-dozen titles by the band that have reached the roster have broken into the top 10. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge launched on the Billboard 200 in June 2004, but it did not rise to its No. 6 high until this past June. Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and May Death Never Stop You: The Greatest Hits 2001–2013 peaked at Nos. 8 and 9, respectively.

My Chemical Romance Charts The Black Parade Three Times

The Black Parade appears on three Billboard rankings this week, and it climbs on two of them. In addition to its improvement on the Billboard 200, the album lifts one rung to No. 49 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart – though that’s still second-to-last place.

The full-length moves in the opposite direction on the Top Album Sales chart. The Black Parade slips three spaces to No. 35 on the purchase-only tally.

My Chemical Romance Falls From Its Peak

Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys appears on the Top Album Sales chart, the only roster in America where My Chemical Romance lands multiple wins this week. The set does fall dramatically, though, tumbling from No. 3 to No. 24.

Last frame, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys reentered the ranking at No. 3, which became its new all-time high. The return almost tied the project with both The Black Parade and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge as My Chemical Romance’s highest-charting releases on the tally. Both of those full-lengths missed ruling the Top Album Sales chart by just one space, as they peaked at No. 2.
