My Chemical Romance is in the midst of a huge run on the charts in the United Kingdom. The band can regularly be found on the country’s rock rankings, with both albums and songs performing well, but this spring and summer have been especially fruitful for the group.
The Long Live The Black Parade Tour began in 2025 and celebrates The Black Parade, which turns 20 this year. My Chemical Romance recently brought the production to Liverpool and Glasgow before playing three concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium, one of the largest venues in the nation.

My Chemical Romance Returns With “Na Na Na”
My Chemical Romance ups its presence on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart as “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” reappears at No. 34. The 40-space ranking details the most-consumed rock and metal songs in the U.K., and both sales and streams are vital.
“Na Na Na” was released in September 2010 as the lead single from Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, which still holds as My Chemical Romance’s most recent studio album. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart later that fall and spent four weeks running the show.
The track now celebrates its thirty-fifth frame on the genre tally. Before this latest comeback, “Na Na Na” was last seen at No. 34 in June 2022. It has not occupied a loftier position in well over a decade, since it appeared at No. 25 in March 2013 before disappearing for nearly nine years.
My Chemical Romance Claims Four Rock Hits
“Na Na Na” is one of four My Chemical Romance songs that can be currently found on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart. The band’s other three wins all climb, and one pushes deeper into the top 10.
“Welcome to the Black Parade” steps from No. 10 to No. 8, while “Famous Last Words” and “Helena” surge to Nos. 14 and 18, respectively. The latter two tracks sat much lower only a few days ago, appearing at Nos. 29 and 34.
All four of My Chemical Romance’s current hits have previously ruled the ranking. “Welcome to the Black Parade” remains the band’s longest-running success on the tally, with 887 weeks — more than 17 years — somewhere on the list.
My Chemical Romance Ties AC/DC
As “Na Na Na” returns, My Chemical Romance ties AC/DC for the second-most appearances on this week’s Official Rock & Metal Singles chart. Both groups fill four spaces. AC/DC appears with “Thunderstruck,” “Highway to Hell,” “Back in Black” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Only Linkin Park claims more current hits – which is often the case – as the nu-metal outfit occupies six positions on the roster.
My Chemical Romance Scores a New No. 1 Album
The renewed popularity of “Na Na Na” coincides with an enormous comeback for Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. The album appears on six U.K. charts, reaching the top 10 on all of them and the top two on all but one.
Seven weeks into its history on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart, Danger Days returns at No. 1, immediately earning My Chemical Romance its sixth champion on the genre-specific ranking. The collection had never previously entered the top 10, and its No. 25 debut back in December 2011 remained its all-time peak – until now.
The full-length also comes within one rung of ruling four other lists. Danger Days debuts at No. 2 on the Official Albums Sales and Official Vinyl Albums charts while returning in the same position on both the Official Albums and Official Physical Albums rankings. Those latter two placements establish new peaks and match My Chemical Romance’s career highs, first set by The Black Parade nearly 20 years ago. In every case, the latest set by the Rolling Stones, Foreign Tongues, keeps the emo rockers from ruling.
It is only on the Official Album Downloads chart where Danger Days misses out on landing inside the top two. The set reenters that roster at No. 8 – one space beneath its already-established No. 7 peak.
