Another new event has launched in Escape From Tarkov, and this time it is called the Full Speed Ahead event that appears to be centered around the Rogues. But it’s not quite the massive event that fans were expecting.
The Full Speed Ahead event in Escape From Tarkov is now live and seemingly is focused on the Rogues that you will usually find on the Lighthouse map. In a social media post announcing the event, the Takov dev team teased that the Rogues will now wander the whole map, and potentially even head to other maps such as Shoreline and Reserve.
The event also comes with a new quest line, that again all seems to be centered on the Rogues and the expansion of their operations. Completing the quest line will give you a new achievement.
According to the social media posts the Full Speed Ahead event runs until May 21, which means you have less than a week to get out there and complete it.
Many fans are speculating that this is in fact the first part of the upcoming Icebreaker event, which we know is due to arrive sometime this month. With it being focused on the coastline, and the Icebreaker event being set on a ship, it seems to make sense. The event ending on a Thursday also ties in with this theory, with most major Tarkov patches arriving on Thursdays.
How To Complete The No Smoke Without Fire Quest In Escape From Tarkov
The first quest of the Full Speed Ahead event in Escape From Tarkov is called No Smoke Without Fire and tasks players with investigating the increased Rogue activities along the coast. It has four objectives, but fortunately none of them are particularly difficult and you can get them just by playing fairly normally.
To complete the No Smoke Without Fire quest you’ll have to survive and extract from a raid on Shoreline, Lighthouse and Reserve, and eliminate 10 Rogues. You do not have to eliminate the rogues in the raids you extract in, and you do not have to travel between maps, you can do it in three different raids.
How To Complete The Stealing The Stolen Quest In Escape From Tarkov
Once you have finished the No Smoke Without Fire quest in Escape From Tarkov, you will unlock the Stealing The Stolen quest, which takes a little more work to complete. Fortunately, the work you did in the previous quest should help, as you will need at least six Radar Station Spare Parts items. These items are now starting to be found in the backpacks of Rogues, so if you kill 10 of them for the previous quest there is a good chance you already have six of them.
Once you have them, you will need to take two of the items to a location, with there being three different locations, each on a different map. In the interest of not dying and losing the items, it’s a good idea to do this in three different raids and not transport to do them all in one run.
The first location is at the weather station on the Woods map in Escape From Tarkov, which is near the abandoned USEC checkpoint on the main road. The second location is on the main hill just behind the new gas station on Customs, and the final one is near the collapsed construction crane on Streets of Tarkov. You can plant the items in the small worker shacks that you will find in each location. Once you have planted all six of the spare parts you can turn in the quest.
