Next month, Linkin Park could win its first Grammy in 20 years. The group is currently nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album, as “The Emptiness Machine” and the outfit’s comeback set From Zero, respectively, are in the running for genre-specific prizes.

Linkin Park is campaigning for a new Grammy (two, actually), while likely also looking ahead to its next chapter after promoting From Zero for more than a year. Fans all around the world aren’t done with the tunes that broke the nu metal act into the mainstream decades ago.

Last week, “Somewhere I Belong” debuted on one of the company’s worldwide tallies, and just days later, the same cut launches on another similarly-composed roster, earning Linkin Park another planet-spanning smash.

“Somewhere I Belong” Debuts on a Billboard Chart

“Somewhere I Belong” appears for the very first time on the Billboard Global Excl U.S. The chart, which was launched by Billboard more than half a decade ago, ranks the most consumed 200 tracks all around the planet using a methodology that includes both sales and streaming activity. Unlike the Billboard Global 200, its companion list, the Billboard Global Excl U.S., does not include any data from American listeners. “Somewhere I Belong” opens at No. 192 this week.

Linkin Park Earns Another Global Smash

Linkin Park earns a sixteenth career placement on the Billboard Global Excl U.S. as “Somewhere I Belong” arrives. The rockers enjoyed an incredibly productive 2024, as 11 songs by the group launched on the list. Just one cut, “Up from the Bottom,” arrived in 2025 after Linkin Park issued a deluxe edition of From Zero, fronted by the single.

“Somewhere I Belong” Brings Linkin Park to a New Career Low

As it debuts, “Somewhere I Belong” brings Linkin Park to a new low point on the Billboard Global Excl U.S. Just two tracks by the group, “IGYEIH” and now “Somewhere I Belong,” have failed to crack the upper half of the 200-spot roster. “Somewhere I Belong” races “IGYEIH” to the bottom, beating its No. 192 debut and high point.

“Somewhere I Belong” Jumps Up the Billboard Global 200

Just days ago, “Somewhere I Belong” reached the Billboard Global 200 for the first time, and in an eerily similar position. The early-career smash from Linkin Park debuted at No. 193 on the worldwide list. This frame, “Somewhere I Belong” jumps more than 30 spaces north, hitting a new high point of No. 159 in just its second turn on the tally.

Linkin Park’s Lowest-Peaking Hits on the Global Roster

Last week, “Somewhere I Belong” ranked as Linkin Park’s lowest-peaking cut on the Billboard Global 200, as the title does now on the Billboard Global Excl U.S. – but as it soars, that is no longer the case. “Somewhere I Belong” is now the third-lowest-peaking tune by the band out of 18 career placements. “Fighting Myself” and “One Step Closer,” which both spent just one week on the roster at Nos. 168 and 184 respectively, come in behind the decades-old hard rock classic.

“Somewhere I Belong” Climbs to a New High in the U.S.

In America, “Somewhere I Belong” only appears on one list, the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. But just as is the case on the global rosters, it also ascends to a new best showing.

“Somewhere I Belong” steps up from No. 8 to No. 5 on Billboard’s tally that looks only at the most-streamed hard rock cuts throughout the nation. The track hits its new high 27 weeks, just over half a year into its tenure on the roster.

Linkin Park Charts Three Hard Rock Streaming Smashes

“Somewhere I Belong” is one of three songs by Linkin Park that appear on not only the two worldwide lists, but also the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. “In the End” and “Numb” largely climb on the global rosters, while holding at Nos. 2 and 7, respectively, on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs list, with “Somewhere I Belong” sandwiched right between them.
