Nintendo Switch fans are about to get their Elden Ring fix. FromSoftware’s open-world action RPG is coming to Switch 2 as a bundle that includes Shadow of the Erdtree and new gameplay/cosmetic content. The game launches on August 28. Digital pre-orders are live on the eshop at $79.99. The physical copy is a Switch 2 Game-Key card.
Pre-Order Bonus
While not permanently exclusive to pre-order, early adopters will get The Ring and Ring of Miquella in-game gestures.

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Scale
The entire 2022 Game of the Year is included. You’re charged with creating a Tarnished and exploring the Lands Between to seek the Elden Ring and become Elden Lord.
Also Includes…
The biggest expansion in this version is the Shadow of the Erdtree. That addition brings Land of Shadow, new bosses, equipment, weapons, Ashes of War and new build options.

2 New Classes
The Tarnished Edition adds two new starting classes to deliver fresh playthroughs.
New Armor
This edition also introduces new armor. Bandai Namco hasn’t given a ton of details on this front, but it should add another layer of fashion and build diversity.
Customize a Torrent
Players can now customize the appearance of their Torrent. Because of how important Torrent is in the game, this is a pretty significant addition.
Switch 2 Headstart
The added content won’t stay exclusive to the Switch 2. Players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC will be able to purchase the edition’s new content separately.
Bandai Namco is selling that content as The Tarnished Pack, and it arrives on the other platforms the same day rather than later.
