Reolink’s ever-expanding smart security camera lineup has been boosted with the launch of the triple lens cameras that were teased back in January at CES, boasting full-coverage monitoring, AI tracking and some of the most unusual camera designs you will probably see mounted on a wall this year.
The OMVI range is made up of three models: the OMVI 3i WiFi, the OMVI 3i PoE, and the flagship OMVI X16 PoE.
Across all the new Reolink models, there’s a pretty unique setup that combines a dual-lens panoramic camera with a separate pan-tilt tracking lens, effectively giving each device three lenses working together.
That triple lens setup is what drives the 360-degree coverage; the upper dual-lens system handles the wide panoramic view, while the lower pan-tilt module actively follows movement.
When something triggers the system, Reolink’s SyncTrack tech kicks in, allowing the pan-tilt lens to lock onto moving people, pets, or vehicles detected by the panoramic feed and follow them smoothly across the scene.
There is also an Auto Framing feature that zooms in and keeps subjects centred as they move, which is aimed at reducing the usual lost-in-frame problem you get with static cameras.
The two fixed lenses sit up top like a pair of eyes, while the larger circular pan-tilt module sits underneath, giving the whole thing a slightly robot-like look that is clearly intentional.
The OMVI 3i models sit in the middle of the range and come in both WiFi and PoE variants. Both versions use an 18MP triple-lens system made up of a 10MP dual panoramic camera paired with an 8MP pan-tilt lens.
At the top end is the OMVI X16 PoE, which steps things up with a 24MP triple-lens system, combining a 16MP dual panoramic camera with a 4K 8MP pan-tilt lens.
The X16 also adds 16x optical zoom, designed to retain detail at distance, alongside 360-degree endless horizontal panning and 140-degree vertical rotation driven by a triple-motor system.
You can view both the wide panoramic feed and the tracked close-up view at the same time and you can also tap directly into the panoramic view to redirect the pan-tilt lens instantly.
The OMVI range, like other recent Reolink launches, runs on ReoNeura AI, which enables local AI video search so you can quickly find recorded clips without scrubbing endlessly through timelines.
It also handles on-device detection aimed at reducing false alerts, and importantly, all of this is designed to work locally without requiring a subscription. Storage is handled via microSD cards up to 512GB or through Reolink NVR systems.
Alongside the OMVI launch, Reolink has also introduced its Power-Efficient Series, which shifts the focus away from high-end full coverage and towards long battery life and simpler installation.
This range includes battery-powered doorbells and cameras built for everyday home security
The lineup includes the Argus MagiCam, a compact 2MP cube-style camera with a magnetic mount designed for quick repositioning. It supports on-device human detection and is built to last up to nine months on a charge.
There is also the Video Doorbell 2nd-gen, which offers a 4MP head-to-toe 1:1 view and supports detection for people, vehicles, animals, and packages.
It can run on a rechargeable battery for up to 10 months or be wired into an existing doorbell system for continuous recording.
The Video Doorbell SE sits below it with a simpler 3MP 4:3 view aimed at everyday front door monitoring, while the E1 Swift indoor PT camera is designed for watching over pets, babies, and general indoor activity.
The OMVI 3i PoE is available now at $299.99, while the OMVI 3i WiFi arrives on June 17 at $319.99.
The flagship OMVI X16 PoE follows in Q3 2026 (no word on pricing yet).
On the Power-Efficient side, the Argus MagiCam is available now at $59.99, and the Video Doorbell 2nd-gen launches on June 15 at $129.99.
The Video Doorbell SE and E1 Swift are both scheduled for Q3 2026.
