As tens of thousands of fans petition FIFA to replay the 2026 World Cup final match, those who want to hold on to a physical piece of the game can do so through a new charity auction.

On Wednesday, July 22, Christie’s and Global Citizen opened “One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund” as an online-only sale running through July 29. Every lot is offered without reserve, opening at $100, marking a noticeably affordable bar for the 260-year-old auction house indicating a hope to reach all kinds of fans. At press time, some items still remain at the $100 mark.

Up for auction is the official match ball used in the final itself, but also other opening-game balls like the one used at the June 11 game Estadio Azteca (where Mexico defeated South Africa 2-0), the Toronto opener (when Canada tied Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-1), and the Los Angeles opening game ball from the United States’ 4-1 win over Paraguay. The auction also features signed jerseys including Lionel Messi’s 2022 Argentina home shirt, a United States Men’s National Team jersey, and shirts signed by international soccer stars like David Beckham, Alphonso Davies and Santiago Giménez.

Alongside Global Citizen producing the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show this past weekend, July 19, Christie’s is offering pieces worn onstage that day as individual lots as well with items lent by performers Madonna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and BTS. In fact, all seven members of BTS donated one garment each.

RM’s boots, J-Hope’s gloves, Jin’s belt, Suga’s pants, V’s scarf, Jimin’s custom 7 jersey and Jung Kook’s jacket are up for auction alongside Madonna’s fingerless gloves, Justin Bieber’s Skylark sneakers, Chris Martin’s handwritten lyrics to “We Dance” and setlist, plus Shakira’s outfit from the music video for “Dai Dai” — the official anthem of this year’s tournament, which she also performed at both the Halftime Show and Opening Game in Mexico City.

For those who love all the musicians involved, there’s also a soccer ball that dons the names of all the artists alongside the Halftime Show conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

Proceeds go to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which is working toward a $100 million target. The fund reports raising roughly $60 million so far, distributing grants to 58 community organizations across 20 countries.
