I think you could make the argument that we are living in a second Golden Age of TV right now. Yes, there is a lot of slop thrown at us, given the sheer volume of content produced, but over the last few months, we have been treated to an absolute avalanche of quality programming across almost every streaming service. Though some more than others.

As it stands, here are approximately the 10 best-scored shows on streaming right now, per Rotten Tomatoes, ranging from 91% to multiple 100%s. Almost all of these are still airing, or at least were only recently dropped as a binge, but you can go further back in the year if you want more. Here, however, are series that a lot of people may be talking about.

Spider-Noir (Amazon Prime Video) – 91% critic score – Nicolas Cage plays a noir version of Spider-Man in a role he was born for. It’s gorgeously shot, brilliantly, sometimes hilariously scripted, and one of the best superhero shows ever made.

Off Campus (Amazon Prime Video) – 94% critic score – Joining hockey romance Heated Rivalry, Off Campus is yet another love story adjacent to the ice, but absolutely charming, highly emotional, and with an interesting future with new couples focused on every season, like Bridgerton.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (Apple TV) – 94% critic score – The wildly talented Tatiana Maslany plays a woman duped by a camboy, but finds herself hunted by a murderer.

Star City (Apple TV) – 96% critic score – Apple has devoted loads of time and resources into the For All Mankind sci-fi series, but with that coming to an end after one more season, it has now turned to Star City, showing the other side of the coin with the Russian view of the fictional space race.

The Boroughs (Netflix) – 97% critic score – Produced by The Duffer Brothers of Stranger Things fame, this time, it’s a bunch of retirees who must solve a monster-based mystery in their unnerving, too-perfect community. Excellent performances from veteran actors like Alfred Molina and Alfre Woodard.

Widow’s Bay (Apple TV) – 97% critic score – While not a perfect 100, this is considered one of the best shows of the entire year, if not the best. A small island town is haunted by a series of supernatural terrors, but lightens the mood with comedy and TV-best performances by Matthew Rhys and Kate O’Flynn, the latter of which may be the breakout star of 2026, carrying the two best episodes of the show.

The Witness (Netflix) – 100% critic score – At just three episodes, The Witness tells the story of a brutal murder of a woman whose two-year-old son witnessed the crime and must draw on horrible memories to help catch the killer. Unfortunately, the case is frequently mangled by police incompetence.

The Legend of Vox Machina (Amazon Prime Video) – 100% critic score – One of the only shows ever to receive four perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes scores across four seasons, the animated series from Critical Role never misses a step in telling its fantasy adventures.

The Vampire Lestat (AMC+) – 100% critic score – The third season of Interview with the Vampire, or the first season of its own run, depending on how you look at it, Lestat the vampire is woken up to become a rockstar in the ’80s, based on the second Anne Rice book of the same name.

From (MGM+) – 100% critic score – The horror mystery, no comedy here, is now in its fourth season and combines elements of LOST with terror and gore and winding mysteries that are finally starting to be unraveled this season, even if there’s one more season after this to sort them all out.
