Korean makeup brand TIRTIR has confirmed its return as the official K-beauty brand for BTS THE CITY ARIRANG — NEW YORK, a citywide fan experience running from July 24 through August 3 in New York City. The collaboration follows TIRTIR’s earlier partnership for BTS THE CITY ARIRANG in Busan.
What BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Is
The fan experience is part of a global ongoing CITY series from HYBE as promotions for BTS’ sold out ARIRANG world tour. In New York, the event spans multiple iconic city locations like Grand Central Terminal, Arte Museum New York and the Korean Cultural Center New York. The CITY experience has previously visited Seoul, Las Vegas, Busan, and London.
The record-breaking septet is fresh off of their performance in the first-ever FIFA World Cup Halftime Show, which they co-headlined along with Shakira, Justin Bieber and Madonna. Dressed in ARIRANG-themed red, they performed their hit track “Dynamite” while the crowd sang along.
That was right next to New York, at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, where they will return once again for ARIRANG shows on August 1 and 2.
Who TIRTIR Are
Founded by Lee Yoo Bin in Seoul, TIRTIR was later sold to Goodai Global, which also owns viral skincare brand Beauty of Joseon. TIRTIR has gained much attention on social media for its Mask Fit Red Cushion foundation, as well as widely inclusive range of 40 different shades, helping the brand expand rapidly across key international beauty markets. BTS’ V was announced as TIRTIR’s first global ambassador in 2025, so there’s already a connection there.
What Is Included In The TIRTIR BTS The City Collab
As part of the collaboration, TIRTIR will launch the limited-edition BTS THE CITY NEW YORK Perfect Setting Duo, a co-branded collection developed for the New York event. The set pairs the brand’s bestselling Mask Fit Makeup Fixer with the Reflect Glow Prep Primer and, for those buying two sets or more, includes an exclusive BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Pouch, inspired by Korea’s traditional bokjumeoni, or lucky pouch.
The launch will be supported by the TIRTIR CONCERT-PROOF BAR at the Korean Cultural Center New York, where visitors can experience the collection alongside the brand’s suncare and lip products.
The limited-edition collection will be available for pre-order through Weverse Shop from July 27–31, with pickup and on-site purchasing available during the BTS THE CITY New York event.
