The new update for EA UFC 6 drops on August 6 and it will feature UFC 330 content, which is good because that card is looking pretty shabby on paper. There’s also a mound of new gameplay tweaks coming to health and stamina, perks and flow states and general fixes. Last but not least, the new update will deliver two new fighters: Josh Hokit and Kyoji Horiguchi.

EA Sports UFC announced the update.

Key Facts at a Glance

Everything in the EA UFC 6 UFC 330 content update:

  • Live: Thursday, August 6, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
  • Josh Hokit: 10-0 with six first-round finishes, heavyweight, ranked No. 4. Free to all players
  • Kyoji Horiguchi: 36-6 with 10 first-round finishes, flyweight, ranked No. 5. Free to all players
  • UFC 330 Fight Week: begins August 11 with a new Punch Card and challenges. Separate date from the patch
  • Stamina: cost for missed and evaded strikes up 10 percent; between-round recovery down 10 percent
  • Knockouts: accumulation thresholds cut 20 percent for head, 30 percent for legs. Flash KOs unaffected
  • Body damage: long-term body damage reduced 10 percent
  • Flow States nerfed: Stinger, Tiger, Point Down and Electric Eel all lose damage bonuses
  • Fixes: Featherstep retreat bonus corrected to +5 percent, Push action restored, head movement animation smoothing, camera shake in online modes, new Dominick Cruz signature overhand
  • Not in this patch: the fighter reach rebalance, move set updates, the Flying Triangle denial bug, Over Under range, ground responsiveness, Bobble-Heading defense and connectivity work. EA lists all of these as future updates still in development

Hokit arrives with a real credential behind him. He beat Curtis Blaydes by decision at UFC 327 in a fight that set the all-time UFC heavyweight record for combined significant strikes, with 351 landed. Horiguchi trains in Florida alongside flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja.

On the stamina change, EA said it “will reward skillful play, being accurate, making the opponent miss,” pointing to a community complaint that stamina had been too plentiful and counter-punching too lightly rewarded.
