As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries at an unprecedented pace, venture capitalists face a critical knowledge gap: understanding how humans and AI systems collaborate most effectively. While most VCs have mastered the financial and technical aspects of AI investments, few possess deep expertise in behavioral-affective computing; the science of how machines recognize, interpret, and respond to human emotions, or human-in-the-loop (HITL) systems that balance automation with human oversight.
